Kage stood near the entrance to Cyber Twin Central, Duel Disk in hand. It had been awhile since the eighteen-year-old had had a good Duel, and now his draw hand was itchy. Victory wasn't necessarily even the objective. He just wanted to lay the cards down to feel the connection between him and his Deck.
I don't know if anyone's even gonna show up... Kage thought. Still, no sense in staying inside all day, or even wandering pointlessly...

Caitlyn couldn't help but notice the young man with a Duel Disk near the entrance to the mall. The petite, dark-haired girl's interest was raised, and she walked over, the click of her heeled boots rather loud even with plenty of people around. From a distance, she glanced him over, and noted the orange wristband he wore.
"Hello," she said, flicking her hair away from her face. "Looking to duel?"

Kage saw the girl approaching, and noted the deliberate direction of her stride. To the question, he smiles brightly.
"I'm lookin' if you're offerin'," he replied in a laid-back manner. "Not feelin' terribly competitive today, may it do ya fine, but I can guarantee that I'll put up a good fight." WIth a toss of his familiar Dueling implement, Kage steps back and slides the thing onto his left arm. The customized Duel Disk slides easily over its wearer's tattered black jacket, and with the same fluid motion, Kage slips his Deck inside the proper compartment. He pulls out a coin from one pocket - a souvenir from his best friend Jeremiah. "Wanna flip for first turn?"

Caitlyn shrugged. "Good, because that's what me and my Ladies need," she said. Even though this was only a duel for fun, she would use her stronger deck. She reached into the deck box at her hip and slipped out one of the decks inside, shuffled it quickly, and clicked it into its place on her Disk. Hers was standard issue. She had never bothered to get it customized. "Certainly," she said, bowing politely to him.

Kage held out the hand with the large silver coin. Each side had a group of dots on it, three on one side and four on the other. The three-dot side had a pattern that looked something like an L, a dot at the upper-left, the middle-left, and middle-right. The opposite face had the symbol inverted vertically with an extra dot in the upper-right corner (OOC: Think Braille H on one side and T on the other).
"The name's Kage, by the way," he said with a grin. "I'll let you flip, if you want." He scratched his head as he contemplated the use of the phrase "me and my Ladies". "By Ladies... do you mean Fortune Ladies? This should be fun."

Caitlyn was surprised by the coin, having not seen one marked with Braille before. She reached out and took it from him slowly, her eyebrows raised. "That's...interesting..." she said, examining it closely.
She smiled and nodded. "I'm Caitlyn, and yes, I think I will flip." She did so. "Heads," she declare,d as she caught it and placed her hand over it. She nodded in response to his second words. "Yes, actually," she said, revealing the coin.

Kage looked at the coin, noting its heads-up position. He took the simple (but dear) object gingerly from Caitlyn's hand and returned it to the pocket on the inside of his jacket.
"Well," he said with a thumbs-up. "Looks like it's your call. I don't mind going second, anyway." He flashed another smile at the girl - Dueling normally brightened his mood, but this opponent and her interesting Deck seemed to bring new potential for the enjoyment of the Duel. He stepped back and activated his Duel Disk.

Caitlyn noticed how careful he was with the coin, and smiled slighlty. She knew something about sentimental value herself.
She took a few steps back as well. As if by some unspoken signal, a circle opened up for a few feet around the two duelists. "You know, I think I will go first," she said. She drew her first six cards. "I'll throw out Solitaire Magician in Attack Mode." She declared. When she played the card, a cute female magician who looked no more than ten appeared, giggling and twirling her staff. "Then, I'll activate Different Dimension Capsule!" Se selected the card she wanted, and smirked. "I shouldn't have to explain that. I'll finish with a facedown."

Drawing his own first six cards, Kage noted the capsule and its hidden treasure. Surveying his cards, he laughed.
"I can't wait to see what that thing's got in store," he said enthusiastically. "But first... Time for a face-down card and... Crystal Beast Amber Mammoth!" As the card hit the Duel Disk, an enormous elephant appeared. "Amber Mammoth, let's show that Solitaire Magician who's boss! Attack!"

"Actually, I would tend to disagree with that. Go, Waboku!" Caitlyn declared. The three blue-robed priestesses leaped up to defend the Magician. She stuck out her tongue at the Mammoth. Caitlyn grinned slightly. "Anything else?" She asked casually.

Kage gave a comically-exaggerated grumble.
"No, I suppose not," he responded, his voice retaining the bright anticipation of a small child opening a booster pack. "Your turn, Caitlyn."

Caitlyn shrugged and drew. "Well, first, I'll place my Magician in Defense Mode." She said. "Then, I'll throw out Fortune Lady Light in Attack Mode!" She declared. A pretty blonde girl dressed in yellow and holding a longer, yellow version of the staff Solitaire Magician held appeared. She waved at Kage and giggled. "Then, I'll throw down a facedown and end my turn."

"All right!" Kage called. "Time to really get things started!" He drew his next card. "I'll summon Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger!" A ferocious-looking saber-tooth tiger instantly stood next to the mammoth. "Let's try this again! Topaz Tiger, attack Fortune Lady Light!"

"Oh, he's the one that gains points when he attacks, isn't he? Sorry, going to have to disagree again." Caitlyn smiled slighlty. "Go, Slip of Fortune!" She activated the card, and as Topaz Tiger pounced, Fortune Lady Light vanished. "This card negates your attack and removes my Lighty from play until my next standby phase." She smirked. "And that activates my Fortune Lady's effect. When she's removed from the field by a card effect, I can Special Summon another Fortune Lady from my deck!" She selected a card. "So go, Fortune Lady Earth!" This new monster was a brunette, in brown, and holding a brown version of the same staff. She also wore round glasses that hid her eyes. "Her 2400 Attack Points should be too much for any of your Crystal Beasts."

Kage looked on in awe as the combination took place. Such a combo was truly a treat to see for the young man, as most of his past opponents had been mere children compared to this. With a laugh, he continued his turn.
"Impressive, and I must say, I prefer ladies with darker hair anyway..." mused Kage. "Who says I have to attack it, though? Amber Mammoth, time to get rid of that Solitaire Magician once and for all!"
