Caitlyn took a brief moment to think it over. "How about the spread known as the Celtic Cross, then?" She suggested. She handed Madoka the full deck of cards. "It's one of the most versatile spreads." She explained. "And Madoka, shuffle and cut like I did before." She directed politely.

Madoka nodded, smiling as she was handed the deck of cards. She carefully shuffled and cut the deck just as she remembered her friend doing previously. When she finished, she put it back on the table. "Okay, what now?" she asked anxiously.

Cait drew the first card and set it facedown in the center of the square of cloth on the table. "I begin to set the spread," she replied. She set another card across it, then a card to the right, below, above, and to the left. The next card went further to the left, then three more above it. "This is the Celtic Cross," she gestured tot he spread.

Madoka looked at each of the cards carefully. This was truly interesting so far. "It's pretty." she commented. "So this is gonna tell me about myself, then, correct?"

"That, and whatever you may need to know for your future. Now, let us begin." Caitlyn said, her hand turning over the first card, under a second one. "This is what covers you," she said. The card appeared almost frightening, with a man in a black robe, holding the oar for a boat that floated on a dark river. "Death, here represented by Charon, ferryman of the River Styx. This is a card of change and new beginnings, often representing the end of one stage of life and the beginning of another." She looked up. "Despite the name and the image, Madoka, this is a very positive card."

Madoka was caught off guard by the first card Caitlyn revealed to her, but relaxed more when she was assured it wasn't what it appeared. She sighed quietly. "That's good to know." she said laughing slightly. She wondered what the rest of the cards would say about her. And the one already revealed, her friend said it had meant change. Madoka mentally nodded, thinking she might know what it was referring to. "Please continue." she said politely.

Caitlyn nodded, turning over the next card. "This is what crosses you," she said. It showed a handsome man standing over a lion, as a crowd applauded him. She smiled. "The Six of Wands. The Suit of Wands shows the tale of Hercules, and here he is applauded after slaying the Nemean Lion. As the image might suggest, this card represents recognition for achievement and successes."

"Really?" Madoka asked, wondering what that might mean. She didn't have any idea what it might mean, but it wasn't like it was anything bad. She still couldn't keep from wondering. "Interesting." she said, beginning to feel a smile spread across her lips.

Caitlyn flipped the next card. "This is the basis of the situation," she said. The card showed a beautiful woman with honey-blonde hair and gray eyes. She sat under a tree, and a golden lion rested its head in her lap. "The Strength, represented by the goddess Athena, who is of course wisdom and strategy in war. This card represents inner strength balanced by diplomacy and patience. It is a card that can be especially strong for women," she informed her, giving her a smile, "and in that case can represent feminine charms. My goodness, Madoka, have you met someone?"

The blue eyed girl couldn't help but giggle to herself, turning her head away from a short moment. She then turned back to Caitlyn, wearing a smile that she was obviously trying to wipe off. She shrugged. "No clue what you're talkin' about." she laughed.

Caitlyn gave Madoka a sly smile. "Alright," she said, moving to the next card. "This is what is above you," she said, revealing it. This card was an overflowing golden cup. "The Ace of Cups. Madoka, you have met someone." Her smile was even more sly than before. "The Cups are the suit of romance, and the Ace represents the beginning of a relationship and the prefect happiness love can bring. You lucky, lucky girl."

Madoka blushed slightly, trying not to giggle again. This was just for fun for the young brunette, but she knew most likely some, if not all, of the things said were true. Could this be one of them? She knew how blind she could be when it came to romance and other related things.
Shaking off the thought, she tried to get her mind back on track. "Um... next one, please." she asked softly and politely. She was still blushing.

Caitlyn smiled. She reached for the next card. "This is behind you," she said. The form on the card was a beautiful blonde woman wearing a long sleeveless dress. "The Queen of Wands, represented by Hebe, the immortal wife of Hercules." She gave Madoka a smile. "She represents a woman who is warm and motherly, and for whom family is first. Perhaps someone you lived with recently?"

Madoka nodded confidently. "That's my Aunt Serenity, no mistake about that." she told her, smiling. Someone motherly and puts family first, that had to be her.

Caitlyn nodded. "That's what sometimes happens with Court Cards. If it's going to trigger a memory, it triggers it right off." She smiled slighlty, then moved to the next card.
"This is before you," she said, "your immediate future." She turned the card over. It showed a dark-haired woman, her hair seemingly spangled with twinkling stars. She wore a gauzy black drape that sparkled the same way. "The Star, represented by Asteria, the titaness of stars." She looked up. "This is a card of happiness and renewal, and of hope."
