It was a normal night for Keith and Satoru, Gabe was out for the night in his room and the tatted Tora wanted to take advantage of their time alone.
The taller of the two men walked up behind Satoru and kissed his neck. "Hey there." He muttered with a smile as his hands moved to unbutton Toru's shirt. Was he predictable? Entirely. Was he patient? Not at all. Besides, he didn't get to see Toru shirtless as much as he would like. He understood why, so the subject was never really pushed, but the scars honestly never bothered Keith. If there was just a way to get that across to Toru to where HE could be comfortable with them…

It felt like Satoru was slacking when it came to keeping his guard up these days. He was getting too relaxed around Kieth and he wouldn't even necessarily notice his footsteps before he was touched or grabbed or pulled around. It wasn't all bad, and while it could surprise him it wasn't like he was afraid, but looking back he knew he wasn't this relaxed even a year ago. It wasn't bad it was just different.
The hands unbuttoning his shirt, though, were a pretty big flag. Satoru wasn't fond of being shirtless and Keith was well aware of that, and even if it was happening more and more Satoru still wasn't keen on Keith seeing all his scars. He grabbed Keith's hand, tangling their fingers together to hinder the progress. "Hey yourself," he replied, tilting his head up to try for a kiss. Slowing down the tatted Tora's progress was practically subconscious at this point. It was a sort of defense mechanism.

Keith made no physical response to Toru grabbing his hands and leaned down to kiss him. The last thing he wanted was to make him uncomfortable, but there had to be some way he could help with this.
After a few moments Keith pulled back from the kiss for breath. He then made a trail of kisses from Satoru's jaw and down his neck, stopping when he came to the collar of his shirt. He came back up and brought his lips to the shorter man's ear. "Have I ever told you how much I love your body?" He asked, hands tightening in his just enough to hopefully give a bit of comfort.

Surprisingly enough, the tightened arms actually did help. It wasn't a crushing embrace or a stranglehold, but enough pressure to be comfortable and reminded that yes this was in fact Keith. "You've mentioned it in passing," he replied, repressing a shiver at the kisses to his neck. He didn't have many scars there so the flesh was plenty sensitive.
Right now he couldn't do too much moving, but he took advantage of Keith stooping down and nipped at his neck in retaliation. This was almost a weird start. It wasn't exactly different, but it felt a little different. Less intent to get them banging and more... something else? Whatever. He'd worry about it later, probably, but for now he trusted Kieth so he'd roll with it.

Keith grinned at the feeling on his neck and turned Toru around to face him. "Well I should say it more often," He started, moving one hand to Satoru's chin. His other hand moved to another button on his shirt, ready to undo it but didn't. Instead it just lingered there, making it clear that he wouldn't unless it was okay with the gunslinger. "'Cause I love every single thing about it." He moved his thumb to brush over Toru's lip. This had proven to get him some positive results in the past, and honestly, he really enjoyed seeing the look on his face whenever he did this.

Satoru relaxed instantly as Keith took hold of his chin, mind clouding with a pleasant haze. It was really hard to be focused on a lot else when Keith did this. "Uh-huh..." He said dumbly. He felt his face heat up. There was far too much power that Keith wielded in his life, but he couldn't find it in himself to care much about that right now, and he probably wouldn't be able to find the will to care much about it later.
His fingers curled around handfuls of Keith's shirt and tugged insistently.

Keith laughed under his breath and took that as a go ahead before pressing their lips together. He unbuttoned the rest of Satoru's shirt and pushed it off, he assumed that he was bent over enough for Satoru to pull off his shirt since he was already grabbing onto it as tight as he was. The hand that was on his chin slipped behind his head while the other one lightly traced over Satoru's scars. He knew there were a lot, but he loved every single one of them.

Satoru pulled off Keith's shirt between kisses, though the trance from the chin-thing was broken as soon as he felt fingers tracing over his scars. He didn't exactly stiffen, but some of his movements faltered a bit as if he was losing steam. Too much of his mind rushing to track the fingers and calculating if he should bolt or shoo them elsewhere or- or something...
But it was Keith of all people. Keith was safe and had seen the scars hundreds of times (much to Satoru's displeasure, he liked keeping his shirt on even if it was kind of inconvenient). It still didn't' mean Satoru liked it but it wasn't like Keith didn't know about them, and it wasn't like he cared they were there, but Satoru couldn't help the reflex to try and keep them covered. He wasn't self-conscious about much, but they were... they were an exception.

Keith started to notice Satoru's movements and pulled back enough to talk, nudging their foreheads together and keeping close. "What's wrong?" He asked while he caught his breath. Really, he knew what it was, but he wanted Toru to tell him himself. The hand that had been over his scars stopped moving and he waited for the gunslinger's response.

Satoru kept his eyes downward, firmly focusing on Keith's chest instead of up at his eyes. He could feel their noses nearly touching and felt the warmth... What was he supposed to say, 'never touch my scars?' That wasn't something he wanted to say to Keith. He didn't want to put shit off-limits to him, it felt like a dick move when they were so fucking hard to avoid because they were fucking everywhere on him. The strangest part, though, was that Keith seemed to actually like them and the gunslinger couldn't fathom why.
"Why do you like the scars?" He managed to ask.

Keith's lips turned up to a light smile smile. "Why?" He asked. "Well you're gonna make me get me all sappy now." He moved his head to get a better look at the scars, hand moving up to touch one of the ones on Satoru's chest. "First off, they remind me of how grateful I am that you're here. You've been through a lot, and knowing that you're still here despite all of that…" He trailed off and bent down more to kiss the scar his hand had been on.
He moved from there after a few moments and turned his attention to another scar. "Then of course they're still you. I told you I love you, that includes the scars. Every single one." He kissed that scar and started to move to others one by one. "And I just think they're amazing. I bet you'd make Ares jealous of all the battle scars you've got." He smiled more at that. Was that cheesy, using a god for comparisons? Damn this was so different for him, but the words were just coming out naturally and he meant every word of them. "I don't think you realize just how long I could worship these scars Toru…"

Satoru had to swallow down a bundle of nerves as Keith spoke, he worked up the courage to look at Keith's face as it moved down. Thankfully he didn't see much of Keith's face, he wasn't sure he would've been able to handle seeing it while he was hearing-- hearing all of this. His heart was already trembling in his chest and that was embarrassing enough, too much more and Keith would be able to feel his pulse fluttering.
His hands didn't move so much as they tried their best to stay steady on a moving object, sliding loosely from Keith's hands up his arms and grasping lightly at his shoulders. Satoru could feel heat in his face, breath hitching in a heady mix of fear and love and uncertainty as Keith kissed his scars. He wanted to stop the younger Tora, make him stop and focus anywhere else, but the words were stuck in his throat and he couldn't make his hands move to shove Keith away and he felt like he was split open for Keith to see everything and--
And he couldn't get up the will to do anything about it, so he tightened his hold with his fingers as much as he could- not much, likely- and held on for dear life. Too much not enough he didn't know what this was but he knew he trusted Keith. He made a small noise of assent, a response of as much eloquence as he could manage, to let Keith continue.

Keith continued to move down until his knees touched the floor, still staying as close as he could in a way that shouldn't accidentally push Satoru back. He kissed his way down one scar until he stopped at the waistband of Satoru's pants and lingered there. His breathing had gotten a little heavier, with warm puffs of air hitting the other man's skin. The tattooist could have easily tried something right then and there, but there was no urge to, not like that anyway. This wasn't so much sexual as it was sensual... and Keith actually loved that.
The younger Tora brought his arms up and around the gunslinger so that his hands were gently resting on the burn scar that took over his back. "For every square inch of scarred skin on your body, I promise you there's a reason for why I adore you." It wasn't until then that he moved his head to look up at his lover. "Now is that something you'd want to hide so badly?"

Satoru couldn't help his eyes squeezing shut after a moment of looking into Keith's eyes. He was shaking he could feel it but he couldn't stop it, a minute trembling brought on as much by fear as it was by the weight of Keith's look. He still wanted to grab his shirt back from where it had landed and cover his scars back up, but he didn't want Keith to stop and god what was he supposed to do? He loved having Keith's attention but no matter how much the younger man loved him and his scars it didn't mean he liked them any more.
There was a moment of silence as Satoru warred over what to say. "I don't know the right answer to that," he confessed eventually as he opened his eyes again, his voice tight. Yes, he still wanted to hide them. He wanted to hide them and never have anyone look at them or stare, but he didn't want to hide whatever-- whatever this was. "I don't..." He didn't even know how to finish that, didn't know how to handle all this gentleness.

Keith didn't seem disappointed or surprised by Satoru's response, and he gave Toru an understanding smile. "That's perfectly fine." He spoke softly. He didn't expect the other Tora to just magically stop hating the scars, he understood that with how much there were and how long he had had them that it would be a process, and Keith was okay with that. The hands that were on Satoru's back slid down to rest on his hips and tightened there gently as Keith pressed a kiss on a scarless patch of skin. As much as he wanted to keep kissing the scars, he didn't want to overstep in such a sensitive subject.
The hands stayed on the older man's hips as the inked man stood up. "You don't have to know anything right now," he assured in a soft whisper. "But I am going to make sure you feel better about them one day, if you'll let me..." He trailed off, deciding to let Toru come up with his own response. It was Satoru's body, so ultimately the choice had to be his. Keith hoped he would say yes, he had fallen in love with the marks that covered Satoru's skin the same time he had fallen in love with him. The fact that the other Tora couldn't even stand to look at them was enough to make the inked man's heart break.
