Becca nodded. "You don't seem unintelligent, so it makes sense." And pushed around? Becca understood that. She understood trying to avoid the cause of anger so as to not unleash it. She knew it very well.
And she was well versed in knowing when other people were about to blow their tops too. Roman was an open book with his emotions, it seemed... Either that, or he was phenomenal at redirecting attention and acting. "So you play the system, then."

"Never though about it that way," The blonde admitted. "but yeah, you could say that." He could tolerate what teachers said to him to a point, after all he would only have to deal with them for a year each and move on. His mother and the rest of his family though, well who knew how long he'd have to deal with them if he screwed up so much as to fail a class. Something told him most of his family wouldn't really say much(considering most of them didn't even finish school), but there was always the possibility of 'If'.
He looked around the hall, wondering what time it was. He'd forgotten his phone in his room, and this section of the hallway didn't have a clock. Roman turned his attention back to Becca. "So what do you normally do to kill time before class?"

"Break stuff and make stuff," the russet-haired teen replied, gesturing to the soda machine. "We could check the security cameras, see if anything went on, or bust in and set them on a loop and wreak a little havoc..." She shrugged. Really, there were lots of options for killing time, but... it was easier to think of them when there was someone to... well, to show off to. Becca wouldn't have done half of that if she was here on her own.

Roman blinked. Well that was… differently from what he was expecting. He didn't know WHAT he had been expecting, but that certainly wasn't it. "I guess so, but only if you can guarantee we won't get caught. I'm kinda cutting it close with being expelled so…" he scratched his head awkwardly. It wasn't that he was scared or anything, but between his poor attendance and nasty habit of breaking noses he didn't really want to add much else on the list. He was almost positive the only reason he was still here was that he had family that worked in the school.

Becca nodded and gave him a thumbs up, the casual gesture a bit at odds with her semi-expressionless face. "Of course. We'll just... have to take a very specific route so we're not seen." She'd also erase their entrances into the building from the files, just so they couldn't be linked to the events at all.
She was a very good hacker, after all. Covering her tracks was just part of the job. "This way. Follow me PRECISELY." And with that, she began leading herself and Roman through the web of blindspots the school camera grid had to offer. It wouldn't be long before they'd reach the security room.

Roman gave a short nod and followed Becca's lead. He really hoped the smaller teen knew what she was doing, but oddly enough he wasn't as nervous as he thought he would be. The more he thought about it the more he found that there wasn't any reason not to trust her. The girl was smart, and seemed to have good judgement, and overall just flat out trustworthy.
Yeah, he decided he wouldn't have much of a problem.
