Emma's blush darkened a bit as she watched his eyes. For a moment or so she couldn't move or talk, so she just sat there. Their arms around each other, their faces as close as they were, and with knowing how he felt about her too. She'd never kissed anyone before, she wondered what it was like...
The younger teen stopped her thoughts right there and pursed her lips together sheepishly. Don't be stupid! Hurry and say something quick!! "Y-yeah." she finally replied, though it came out stuttered. "Everything's gonna be alright, I promise."

Daemon's eyes slowly opened and a small smile formed on his face. "I'm the one that's supposed to be consoling you, not the other way around." he replied as he physically forced himself to pull away. He knew better than to try and do anything that would jeopardize their friendship. His feelings for Emma would just have to sit on the back burner... but that didn't stop his imagination.
He took Emma's hand in his and looked down at the letter A burned into her skin next to the bruises his father's hand had obviously caused, he could see the impression of fingers. "The burn won't scar, thankfully." He said, as he lightly traced the area around it, careful not to touch it. He'd had his fair share of burns, many worse than this, so he knew exactly how the healing process worked.

Emma kept the smile up on her face when he pulled away so to hide her disappointment. Stupid hormones, she just had to remind herself that he was a friend, and she didn't want to mess any of that up.
She looked down at her arm as he touched around where the burn was. "I figured, but it's nice to have reassurance." This burn was nowhere near as bad as the scars that her mother had, so fear of it scaring had been minimum to nonexistent.

Daemon nodded as he stared at the letter burned into her arm. While he was curious to how exactly it had happened, he didn't want to make her relive it, so he didn't ask. "I have a burn salve in my room if you'd like to have it." He used to get a lot of burns so it was nice to have it on hand. "It'll help it heal faster and it's very soothing."

Emma nodded quickly. "Yeah, that sounds great if you don't mind." Anything to get this to go away faster, it only reminded her of Mr. Speirs more every time she looked at it, and that was both terrifying and super creepy.

Daemon nodded and sensing the direction of her thoughts added, "I also have some light bandages so we can wrap it up. I can run up to my room now if you'd like? Or you could come with me and we can get your math homework done there." He started to ramble at the end and forced himself to stop. He'd never invited anyone to his dorm room before, the only people that had even been there was his family. Perks of a rich family that funded the school, no room-mate.

Emma moved her eyes back up to him quickly, her blush picking back up just the smallest bit. Did he just invite her to his room? His room? Where they would be alone and private and--
Okay, stop it! It was obvious that Daemon wouldn't try to do anything(he had had the perfect opportunity just a few moments ago as proof), so why was she freaking out like this? She quickly came to her decision and nodded. "Y-yeah, I don't mind going with you, it'd be quieter that way." Because honestly, if someone were to come in the room they were in now it would just be hard to focus on her work.

Daemon noticed her blush and was about to reassure her of his intentions, but she beat him by agreeing. He smiled and grabbed his and Emma's books then stood up. "Alright, let's go get something on that burn then." He stated as he started for the door. He waited for Emma once he reached the door.

Emma hopped up from her seat and followed after Daemon, pulling her sleeve back down as she did so. She gave him a smile and glanced down at where he held her books. "I can take those you know, I don't mind." Of course he took them first so he probably wanted to, but it still felt a little odd. Though that was probably just her being weird...

Daemon smiled and shook his head. "I've got them" He said as he lead them towards the elevator. It opened and they went in. "Since I can't really do anything about the past, I can do little things like this to try and make up for it." He explained. "Plus it's the chivalrous thing to do, right?" He smiled at her as the elevator dinged on his floor, the top.

Emma giggled a little and nodded. "Of course it is, and it's very sweet of you too." she agreed once they got to the top floor. A thought hit her and she suddenly got very nervous. "W-we're not gonna run into Artemis up here... are we?" She didn't know if their rooms were near each other or not, and she already knew that his sister didn't like her. Running into her now of all times would just make things worse.

Daemon shook his head. "No, she's a few floors down., don't worry" The top floor didn't have many people, the few it did have were all quiet guys, which was nice. Daemon pulled his key out and unlocked the door then opened it and flipped the light on. It was the same size as any other room except it didn't have the second bed that other rooms had since it was just Daemon here.
"Well, this is me." He said as he walked across the room and sat the books on his desk. His bed was on the right wall, thankfully he was the type of guy that made his bed every morning so the black blanket was neat. His desk sat against the window across from the door in the center of the room, it wrapped around to the left wall. On the left side of the room was his keyboard and the other end of the L-shaped desk. He had duel monitors, one sat on one side of the desk while another sat near his keyboard. The left side of his desk was used for music editing and recording, he had equipment for it stored below. He had a book shelf beside the closet that was near the door. There were a few trophies at the top of the shelf from various sports competitions and music competitions. On his walls was sound proof padding.
He turned towards Emma and awkwardly scratched the back of his head. "What do you think?" he asked a little nervously. This was the first time anyone important had seen his room.

Emma sighed with relief, so no running into Artemis, good. She followed Daemon to his room and her eyes widen once she looked around. She knew his family was wealthy, but his room looked so... she wasn't really sure what the word was that she was looking for. She blinked as she brought her attention back to Daemon and giggled. "Certainly different from what I'm use to, but I like it." She looked over the color scheme as the room and raised a brow. "It could definitely use more color though." She kept her smiled up to show her teasing.

Daemon laughed lightly. "I'll keep that in mind." he replied. He pulled out the desk chair, a nice high backed one that rolled and had arm rests, for Emma. "Here you go." he offered as he stepped back and went to his dresser drawers which were built in underneath his bed. He pulled out one of the smaller drawers which held his first aid stuff and grabbed the burn salve and the bandages.

Emma took a seat in the chair Daemon pulled out for her. "Thanks." She said cheerfully as she got comfortable in the chair. It didn't take long, she could sleep in this chair if she really wanted to. She glanced over at Daemon as he pulled out the burn salve and bandages, she couldn't help but frown a little. "You wouldn't have something like that on you unless it happened a lot..." she trailed off, hoping he'd pick up her train of thought. She'd respect it if he didn't want to talk about it, but after seeing what his father was like, she couldn't help but wonder what all he had had to go through with him.
