Gabe sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "Yeah, sure, I guess so." he agreed. He honestly had no idea what Adriana would think about him going to a party, but he didn't think it'd be a bad thing so long as he didn't go over board with anything(which he probably wouldn't). Besides, hopefully with having Fei around that'll make the experience better than if he were to go anywhere alone. Things were always better with a familiar person around.

"Yes!" Fei shot one fist victoriously upwards. She straightened up in her seat, criss-crossing her legs and placing her arms in her lap. "You'll have fun, trust me. It seems kinda complex at first, but once you go you realize it's no big deal."
Fei herself had never been nervous regarding parties, but her brother and cousins were a completely different story. Hajime still flat-out refused to go. Mai complained that she had a season of some anime or another to finish, so she was too busy. Aaron and Ryland came with on occasion, although the latter still wasn't much of a socialite. Sora had charisma, but he worried too much about what people thought to really let loose. She hadn't taken Shinji to one yet, but she had a feeling he would be the one relative she had who would actually enjoy parties.
Long story short: she was happy to have someone (somewhat) willing to go for once. Plus, the Tora enjoyed helping people open up. She was a lot like her overly charismatic father in that sense.

"If you say so." The Kuma said with a light shrug. "I'm not worried really, I'm sure it'll be fine and all. I just don't like not knowing what to expect is all." He'd been that way since he was little actually, he HATED surprises.

"Ah, but that's the fun part. You never know what could happen. What fun would it be if everything went according to plan?" Fei chuckled. "But to each their own, I guess. Just stick with me and you'll be fine." A thought occurred to her. "Oh, and more likely than not, "teen royalty" will probably show up. So... avoid talking to Artemis Speirs and her cronies. They're bad news." Although Gabe could have very well known that already. Artemis's reputation was pretty wide-spread. "The others are mostly fine though, so don't stress out about it. Just giving you a heads up is all."

Gabe chuckled. "No worries, she's just some brat kid, if I ran into her it wouldn't be the end of the world." Seriously she was what, fifteen? Pretty young to have that sort of a reputation, but he never paid attention to people like that to begin with. He turned back to her. "So how often do you even go to parties to begin with?" He didn't want to be COMPLETELY in the dark, if he was getting dragged to the next party she went to then he wanted to be able to see it coming.

"However often they're being thrown." Fei-Yen shrugged. "If there's a party, I'm there. If not... I'll probably be hanging around the Allure or the arcade." Occasionally hanging out with a random boy here or there, as well, but never anything serious. The Tora just wasn't equipped to deal with serious relationships. Plus, she enjoyed giving boys a challenge. She had a reputation for being un-dateable, one which she rather liked having for one reason or another.
Fei shrugged again. "I'm not good with, well, not doing things, I guess."

"Nothing wrong with that." Gabe told her. "Things do get pretty boring after a while, I wouldn't mind getting out everyone and a while, but I kinda lack the money." Adriana's family was decently wealthy thanks to her mother, but Gabe didn't have a job as of yet and with having a single dad with a business to keep track of, it was kind of hard to get some cash.

"I guess that makes sense." Her family was pretty well-off, all things considered. Sometimes she and her brother got stuck with the "spoiled" label, but it never bothered Fei much. She thought of it as karma's way of paying them back for spending the early parts of their lives as poor little orphans. "If you let me, I could treat you sometime. Not really sure what to, but we could hang in non-partying environments if you don't mind my company."

Gabe rose an eyebrow at her. "Now why the fuck would I let a lady spend her money on me?" He just let Adriana do it 'cause she was practically a sister, he didn't necessarily HAVE to be polite to her and they would still get along.
He chuckled a little though. "Though I wouldn't mind hanging out, I gotta branch out eventually after all, I'll just scrape around for some cash in advance so I don't have to worry about it." Gabriel Alabaster liked to think of himself as a gentleman when it came to his treatment toward ladies.

"Because I refuse to conform to gender roles, that's why." Fei-Yen gave a sly grin. "But if you wanna go ahead a be a gentleman I'm not gonna stop ya. I don't meet gentlemen every day. It could be refreshing." Not that she was complaining about the normal type of guys she hung around or anything. It was just fun to mix things up every once and awhile. Maybe that was why she had already taken such a likening to Gabe. Well that, and he was cute.

He grinned. "I'll take that as a good thing and roll with it." He liked being a gentleman, it just felt natural to him and he tend to get along with girls more than he did guys anyway. It never really bothered him, if anything he preferred it that way. Despite what people said about girls being difficult to be with at times, guys were just as irritating and even more stupid.

"Good. I meant it as a good thing." There was a brief pause. "So, any particular reason you couldn't get to sleep? Omninous dreams? Your roommate snoring? Or maybe plain old insomnia?" She couldn't help it, she was curious. And besides, Fei wasn't one to leave awkward silences in a conversation. She liked to keep talking, even if it was irrelevant.

Gabe shrugged a shoulder. "Nothin' special, just couldn't sleep. I normally read until I get tired and pass out that way, but I've already read through my small and pathetic excuse for a library. So here I am." He rose his arms up a little to emphasize the last sentence. "What about you? Still hyped up from being out or something?" That was his best guess.

"Yeah, maybe." Fei thought for a moment. "I guess I've gotten so used to staying out late I've practically become nocturnal. I'll probably fall asleep sometime during algebra." It wasn't her fault the classes were boring. The way Fei-Yen saw it, if she needed to know what was bein taught her brain would keep her awake. Otherwise it was nap time.

Gabe rolled his eyes a bit at that. "Yeah, 'cause that's always a good thing." He couldn't afford to sleep in class all that much thanks to his dad. He was a chill enough guy, but he was dead set on Gabe doing well enough in school to get a well paying job instead of barely living like he was. He didn't mind it, and it wasn't like he was being forced to make straight A's, but sleeping in class meant missing information and he wasn't really the type to risk anything.
Maybe he should invest in a recorder.
