Ryland thought for a moment. "I know Mr. King's kids started here not too long ago. Although I guess most people already know him as Anya's uncle so..." He shrugged. "Hajime, the tall and scary looking kid? I know he has an aunt who volunteers to teach art classes at the elementary school every so often." There were probably more, but remembering them would actually require effort on Ryland's part, so he didn't bother.

Rusty blinked. "Huh, that is a few." He shrugged, it was no wonder he didn't know. If he remembered right, Mr. King was the music teacher and Rusty wasn't all that musically gifted. That and he didn't really know any of the students Ryland mentioned, heard of them sure, but didn't really know them.
"So Ryland, what do you do when you're not studying or givin' teachers heart attacks with your pranks?" The tanned Ookami asked with a grin. Rusty likes talking to people and making new friends, call it a hobby of his.

"Good question." Pranks and grades were what took up most of Ryland's time. He didn't hang out with other people much, which was why he spent more time with Mai than Aaron did. "Making sure my kid sister doesn't do anything stupid, I guess? And trust me, that's a pretty hefty job." Mai was kind of an oblivious airhead sometimes. Sometimes it was comical, but it was mostly annoying.

Rusty laughed at that. "I hear ya, man. Got a little brother a sister myself." Gerard and Sylvie, oh those two... "My brother's still real little, but my sister's just about to turn thirteen. Got a feeling I won't be able to shake her once she gets in the dorms." Not that he really minded much, Sylvie wasn't too terribly hard to look out for.

"They tend to assert their independence once they reach enrollment age." He sighed. "Although Mai is convinced real life operates like Shojo Manga, so her idea of asserting independence is... odd."

Rusty grinned at that, keeping back a small chuckle. "Bet that's fun to look after, she one of those anime obssessed kids?" He'd seen a few people like that in the dorms, all the way down to the cat ears on their heads. It was cute for the younger ones, but after you reached a certain age you kinda need to take a little step back from that much.

Ryland pinched the bridge of his nose with another sigh. "Yeah, that's her. A hopeless Otaku." Not that there was anything wrong with liking that sort of stuff, but it made Mai hold many aspects of her life to very odd standards. She wouldn't even consider being interested in any guy if they weren't as cute and snarky as her favorite characters... maybe it was some kind of complex. "If she doesn't live her life like some sort of anime heroine, I think she'll end up very disapointed."

"I say let her dream for a while," Rusty said with a chuckle. "Though if she's still like that say ten years from now, then I'd be a little worried." He shrugged, smile still ever so present. He'd never been big into the whole anime thing himself, he was always running around outside and getting in the mud.

"Whatever makes her happy." He shrugged. The ten years thing was a definite risk, but he'd deal with that when the time came. "Mom and Dad think it's cute, so they let her off the hook when she acts stupid. I guess that's a given with younger siblings, though." Ryland smirked. Yeah, Mai got away with a ton, but so did he. Plus, she knew how to play up the cute factor. One good thing anime had taught her, he supposed. How to look innocent and adorable.

"I gotcha," Rusty nodded as he ran a hand through his neatly cut hair. "Sylvie hardly ever gets in trouble with our parents. Bats those little eyelashes of hers the right way and she's got our dad wrapped right around her finger." He had been able to pull that off to when he was younger, but had gotten out of that phase at an earlier age than she had. Probably because she was a girl and they were able to look cuter a lot longer.

Ryland opened his mouth to reply just as a recording of the Hallelujah Chorus blasted through the school's PA system. The ginger Ookami smirked. "Looks like Aaron got bored," he chuckled. Hijacking the PA system was a pretty simple trick, almos trivial as far as the Edeson twins were concerned. However, that didn't make it any less entertaining.

Rusty glanced up to where the PA was playing the song and smirked at Ryland. "Y'all have to let me join in on the fun some time." He told the ginger in an attempt to seem as serious as possible. This ofcourse didn't last with the grin he had on, what could he say? He came to the conclusion that there wasn't much his parents could do to punish him with him living at the dorms, and as long as he was pretty sure some of the team would back him up if their coach heard.

Ryland leaned back in his seat, feigning a serious expression and a business-like tone. "I would have to confer with my associate, but after some delegation I suppose I could squeeze you in somewhere." His lips twitched into a small smirk. It was hard to tag that serious for long.
