"So my first day off sense I started work and we pick this place?" Frankie asked oddly, jumping out of a tree branch and hitting the ground carefully. He laughed a little and sighed, "Eh, I like it, it's nice to get the buzzing sound from work out of my head." Not that he didn't like his job, he was thrilled to finally be working for a tattoo artist, and Keith was pretty chill to work with for being a boss.
Plus, he was getting to spend time with Lele, that was always a good thing. He felt whole again when they were together, it was a nice feeling, and he loved every bit of it.

Cross chuckled and climbed higher into the tree she was in. "You know this place is awesome." she teased, looking down at him from her high perch. She carefully sat down on a thick branch above Frankie. A moment later she was hanging upside down and messing with his purple hair. She laughed. "Besides, even you can admit it's fun here."

Frankie pushed her hand away from his hair with a chuckle and looked up at her. "Yeah, yeah, it's alright I guess." he stuck his tongue out at her and ran his tattooed hand through his hair to fix it from Leanna's ambush. "Either way, I like hanging out with you, best thing I could do all day." he smiled cheerfully, the slightest hint of a blush on his cheeks(she probably wouldn't be able to see).

Cross smiled brightly and climbed back up so she could drop down from the limb. A moment later she landed on her toes beside Frankie. She dusted her hands off to remove the bark and nudged Frankie. "You're a sap," she teased, grinning. "but I like hanging out with you too, it's the most fun I have all week." she started walking deeper into the forest and laughed out loud as a phrase came to mind. "Hakuna Matata." she called back, her face an immovable smile.

Frankie shrugged and grinned. "What can I say? An artist should speak his heart, you know." he laughed as he walked with his best friend. He laughed again at her comment. "No worries, sounds abut right I guess." he nodded, throwing his hands behind his head.
"So what'cha been up to lately?" he asked curiously. "Seeing as though you're made of money and don't have to have a job like the rest of us." The little jerk, she doesn't have to wake up at the crack of dawn and get to making money. Well, neither did he really, the Ookami had reasonable hours for his job, but still! It wasn't fair.

Cross shrugged as she slid down a tree to sit at the base. "Nothing much really. Wandering around, getting in trouble, making enemies, the usual." she replied, grinning. "And I'm not made of money, that's ridiculous. I swim in it." Her grin widened. She looked up at him and continued. "How's work for you anyways? I hardly get to see you anymore. It gets really dull having to do nothing most of the day."

Frankie rolled his eyes before responding to her question. "It's actually pretty cool, a little boring when mostly all I do is sweep and clean, but he's trusting me with piercings, so that's something." he poked his tongue out to point at the spiderbites he had on the corner of his lips. "I think you've noticed I've gone through a bit of a make-over sense I started." he laughed. He'd certainly changed his physical appearance, now he didn't look so plain.

Cross chuckled and nodded. "Yea I noticed that." she jutted out her own lip and looked down at it, her eyes crossing. "I don't see how you can have those, that would irritate me to no end. Oh! I also noticed your tattoo," she said, reaching up and grabbing his hand to see it better. "What is it?" she asked curiously. It looked like beads, but she wasn't too sure.

He looked down at his hand when Leanna grabbed it, smiling a little. "They're prayer beads." he replied. "I'm starting to get a little.... religious, I guess you cold say. Not completely, so don't worry." he laughed again. "I have another one tattooed on my chest," then there was the tattoo on his back, but he figured it was a little too depressing to bring up for the time being, especially since she'd wonder who Amie was...
"Every now and then I'll get paid with tattoos instead of cash, so I thought why not?" he grinned. "The piercings, I kinda did myself though..." he trailed off, scratching his head like an idiot.

Cross was impressed, both by the idea of the prayer beads and the fact that he did the piercings by himself. "How bad did it hurt?" She asked still looking at the prayer bead tattoo on his right hand. She'd never had a tattoo and honestly the idea kinda scared her, though she wouldn't really admit it.
She looked up and raised an eyebrow. "And why would you do your own lip piercing?" she chastised.

Frankie shrugged. "The hand kinda hurt, but that's just 'cause he was going over bone, places with muscle are a lot easier pain-wise." He chuckled at her next question. "I was already spending money for tattoos, and I already know how to pierce 'em myself, so why waist my check, ya know?" Made sense to him, tattooing was something he couldn't do as of yet, and tattooing yourself isn't the best idea in the world anyway...

Cross nodded and released hand. "I guess that makes sense." She'd have to ask about his other tattoos later, she realized she wanted him to see something. She stood up and brushed her jeans off then smiled at Frankie. "Come on, there's a certain spot out here that I like." She trudged off into the forest, heading to the deeper and darker parts. "Come on Human Art Project." she called back at him as she weaved through the trees.

Frankie stood back up himself and followed her, raising en eyebrow at the nickname. "Alright, take the lead." he said, pausing for a moment before taking her hand in his. He hadn't held her hand since they were kids, for some reason he had really wanted to right then. "And if you think I'm an art project, you should meet my boss Keith." he chuckled at the thought of all the tattoos the Tora had, it was pretty crazy. "The guy's covered."

Cross glanced down at their hands momentarily, then laughed at what Frankie said. "I'll take your word for it. I've seen a few guys covered before in bars and stuff, but nobody I really knew. I might have to meet this boss of yours, gotta make sure he's treatin' ya right." she teased. She was quiet for a moment longer then spoke back up. "Why prayer beads?"

Frankie was silent for a moment in order to get his thoughts together. "Well, I said I'm starting to get a little more religious," he began with a soft chuckle. "I guess, well, after losing my family, it's a nice thought to imagine they're in peace somewhere out there, and I can actually feel a sort of connection with them with these..." He thought a little longer, then picked up his smile so not to worry her any. "But yeah, that's pretty much it. Probably think it's a little lame, huh...?"
