Hotaru held Jack's hand as the couple entered the garden to find the photographer, Kyou she was pretty sure his name was. Eva had mentioned him to her when they had talked about wanting to take some pictures before the wedding. They had spoken on the phone for a little bit to get the location and time sorted out, but other than that this would be their first time meeting with the photographer. He seemed excited enough over the phone, hopefully he was as good as she had heard.

Jack twined his and Hotaru's fingers together happily. Despite the clan war (that had had a spectacularly long ceasefire, who'd have known?) it seemed that they had found a photographer that either didn't care about an inter-clan wedding or was completely oblivious to the possible backlash. He was fairly certain it was the first after talking to the man, Kyou.
He had heard a little bit more about him after asking Tekka, who had apparently seen him (and either a sister or girlfriend, Tekka was spectacularly inept at determining relations) at Tora HQ.
Kyou waited semi-patiently at the appointed location, waving to the couple as they appeared. He was fairly certain he had seen the redhead a few times around base before, but it was hard to tell from the remaining distance. Still! A job was a job, and he was really glad to be able to help out with a wedding of all things! He was certain that he'd be taking some really great shots today, and though it would take some time in the darkroom to know how precisely they'd turn out he knew that he wasn't going to let himself let the friendly-sounding couple down.

Hotaru's eyes widen in excitement as she saw the photographer wave at the two. She tugged Jack as she ran/jogged to the young man. "You're Kyou, right?" She called out cheerfully. "It's nice to meet you! So you're the man to go to for our little photo shoot, huh?" She asked excitedly.

Kyou's eyes brightened a bit as the redhead spoke. She sounded exited, and he couldn't help but feel encouraged by it. "Yeah, that's me. You're Hotaru and Jack, then?" He asked, glancing between the pair.
Jack nodded and smiled as he caught up with Hotaru. "That us."
Kyou smiled a little. "Then I guess we should get started, what were you guys thinking about? I mean, photos for invitations for the wedding should probably be shot first so you can get them out in time, and we can figure things out from there..." Just and idea, it was all up to the couple in front of him, after all.

Hotaru nodded and looked up at Jack for his opinion as she spoke. "Yeah, that sounds good to me, I'd like to get the important stuff out of the way first, then hopefully get to take some for fun?" She was really looking forward to this, she'd been wanting some professional pictures of the two of them for some time and now she finally had the chance!

"That sounds good," Kyou nodded, then stopped as he realized something. "Oh! I should probably warn you about this ahead of time, the photo's I'm taking today are regular film, so it'll take me a day or so to get them properly developed once we're finished depending on how many get taken."
"That said, how do you want these taken? Candid or somewhat formal? Like a portrait." Judging from what he had seen thus far, they'd probably choose a more candid shot, but it WAS for a wedding...
Jack glanced to Hotaru. "I'm leaning towards candid, what about you Ruru?" It wasn't like they had anyone who would throw a fit about a less-than-highly-formal invitation.

Hotaru nodded. "I like candid much better." She agreed. "I just wanna get this started~!" The redhead tried to contain her eagerness, but it was kinda hard to do. Anything involving the wedding was enough to get her hyped up, it meant she was one step closer to being Hotaru King!

Candid was always a little harder to do in a staged area, but Kyou could probably do it. "Sounds good." He replied with a smile. "In that case, just act natural, don't look at the camera, and pretend I'm not here for a little while." He was pretty good at fading into the background when he wanted to, and it typically helped. "And, well, if that fails, then positioning you both a bit shouldn't look stiff." They were getting married, so it couldn't be too hard to be relaxed around each other.
Jack nodded. He guessed that that probably WOULD be the best way to get natural shots, not even attempting to get them to pose. He glanced to Hotaru, "In that case, shall we take a stroll m'dear?"

Hotaru smiled bright and nodded. "We shall!" And with that the redhead wrapped her arms around one of his and started walking with him. It wasn't that hard to block out the camera, when it came to just her and Jack nothing else seemed to matter. Everything just fell into place when they were together, it was perfect.

Jack smiled and entwined their fingers again, he loved her so much... it was very easy to block out Kyou, easy to pretend it was just them... Because in a way it very nearly WAS just them, even if he could occasionally hear the snap of a shutter. It didn't come often, perhaps Kyou was a picky photographer? Still, it was better than getting a ton of horrible shots... Either that, or Kyou was being very discreet so he didn't interrupt them.

If Kyou was taking a lot of pictures, the redhead honestly didn't notice. She was just enjoying herself, kissing his cheek maybe once or twice as they walked. She wasn't too sure what else to do, they were suppose to just act natural. She didn't want to look like she was trying too hard.
