Keisko nodded at Eva and quickly switched out her gloves for a clean pair. She grabbed some supplies and sat beside Aiden as she started to bandage the most prominent wounds. "We're going to need to fit in the ambulance somehow." she stated, her voice listless and dead. "Cross is in no condition to move, she still has a knife in her after all. We need someone to carry Hotaru so we can put M-M-Matsuda on the other bed." They'd need to get to the hospital as soon as possible. Jack, Cross, and Aiden were losing blood and Hotaru needed to be in the hospital before she woke.

Jack felt a certain coldness well up in the pit of his belly at the state Keisko was in. "I'm not that injured, I can carry Ruru..." He offered. His back and leg hurt, but Ruru certainly looked a lot skinnier than was healthy, he doubted she'd be too heavy for him. But there was still the big unanswered question. "What... happened to Matsu?" He looked from Keisko to Aiden then back again, looking for an explanation.
Aiden just shook his head. He couldn't... He didn't want to talk right now. ESPECIALLY not about that.

Eva looked over at Jack for a moment, debating on whether she should be the one to tell him or not. It was clear her husband wasn't going to, and it would be a bad idea altogether for Keisko or Minori to be the ones to say anything about it right then. The blond frowned, coming to her decision. She looked over at Aiden and pushed his hair out of his face again, giving him an uncharacteristically soft kiss on his forehead before turning back over to Jack.
"C'mon Jackie." she waved, using a voice so soft and gentle that there was no way on earth it should have rightfully belonged to Eva. She walked off just enough of a distance to where when she told him the others wouldn't have to deal with hearing the same thing all over again. She didn't want to be the one to tell him, she didn't know the details by any means and wouldn't even dare try to get them out of Mini or Aiden. She only knew because she saw the body.

Jack glanced at Aiden one final time as if to ask for reassurance that everything was alright, but there were no words from the elder King. Jack got up and slowly made his way over to Eva. He didn't ask for an explanation, something told him that saying anything at all would just be a bad idea. Instead he just waited for Eva to speak. He doubted he was going to like what he was about to hear though...

Eva took a small breath as she got ready to tell Jack the news. She'd just get to the point, now wasn't the time for bull shitting on this one. "... Matsuda's dead." she told the Ookami, voice somewhat calm despite her legs shaking a little from the thought of it all. "Minori's still by his side right now I think... his body's laying on a sheet next to the ambulance..." And that was all she would be able to tell him. She wasn't sure was she was suppose to do at this point, so she just stood there to see Jack's response.

To say Jack was shocked was an understatement. To say that he was overwhelmed was STILL an understatement (albeit a less severe one). Matsuda... couldn't be dead... There was NO WAY Matsuda could just be DEAD!
He couldn't have died without knowing his sister was safe... He wouldn't have died like that... Matsuda didn't DESERVE to die like this... Jack was perfectly silent as a numbness crept over him. He took a few steps away from Eva, training his eyes on the side of the ambulance as he made his way over to confirm it.

Eva frowned at Jack's response, deciding to let him walk over to the blond corpse without interfering. She made her way back to where Keisko was bandaging Aiden, keeping silent herself. There really weren't any words that could be said considering everything right now anyway.
Minori was sitting completely still beside his cousin's body. He'd stopped crying finally, but the tears still stained his cheeks and his eyes were almost as red as his hair. He kept his eyes on Matsu's face, he still couldn't believe he was gone... It just couldn't be true.

Keisko was waiting until everyone had decided how they were going to ride. Outside she had an air of unnatural calmness, while inside she was in hysterics and felt like she was dying. It had been a pre-planned rescue mission set on rescuing Hotaru and all of them getting out... Matsuda wasn't supposed to die. He was too important, too loved, too... Matsuda. Her heart felt like it was breaking into little pieces, never to be fixed again and her body was now on autopilot.
"We need to get to the hospital." she said quietly, hoping they could get there so she'd have something else to concentrate on besides her dead boyfriend...

Hearing Keisko's statement, Mikka decided to clarify the situation. She wanted to make sure all her allies were okay, but at the same time if there was a risk of her being examined in a hospital she probably wouldn't want to go. That sort of thing involved looking into records and that would most likely get very messy. And Mikka wanted to flying as far below radar as possible.
"I am uninjured," the Russian stated, raising a hand hesitantly. "I'm not sure what you would want me doing. I am capable of taking care of myself, however."

Keisko nodded, looking around at everyone. Cross needed to get to the hospital and so did Hotaru. She wasn't sure what to do about Matsuda... they'd put him in the morgue at the Hospital... that was probably the best place. A pain shot through her at the thought of Matsu's body laying in the ice cold morgue. She clutched her hand to her heart momentarily until she could breath right.
"Jack can carry Hotaru, Matsuda can go on her bed and Cross needs to be put in the truck. Frankie, can you guys put Cross's bed into the truck? You can let go of her wound until that gets done. Mikka... once Jack gets Hotaru, can you help get Matsuda on the bed and get the bed in the truck? I'm going to be driving. We can put Jack and Hotaru in the front with me." she stated, her voice lifeless.

Jack ripped himself away from Matsuda's corpse and nodded. Keisko's calm demeanor (while eery and certainly not something that seemed quite real) managed to cut through the numbness and made Jack realize he had things to do. He made his way over to Hotaru and lifted her up gently so her head was resting against his shoulder... god she was so light... He made his way to the the front of the ambulance before realizing that getting the door open with full hands was NOT going to be an possibility.

Frankie, who had been too busy watching Leanna to pay attention to what else had been going on around them, nodded when he heard Keisko. "Yeah, no problem." he said. Carefully, the purple haired Ookami managed to get his friend inside the ambulance, remaining at her side as he kept the knife in place as he was told.
Minori's trance like state was finally broken and he managed to look away from Matsuda's body. He glanced over at Jack's dilemma between holding Hotaru and opening the door. Deciding to actually make himself at least a little useful, he walked over and opened the door for him. He stayed silent, thinking about whether he should ride with them to the hospital. Aside from a sore shoulder, he wasn't injured at all, and as much as he would want to stay with 'Suda a little longer he just didn't want to cause any problems with room issues in the ambulance. It would already be a crowded ride there with the people that NEEDED to go.
Eva looked around for a moment, then took a second to look inside the ambulance from where they were in the back. There wouldn't be nearly enough room for everyone...
The blond looked down at where Aiden was sitting, resting a hand on his shoulder as she went to get eye-to-eye with him. "Hey, I'm gonna go get Anya, I'll meet you at the hospital." she kissed his cheek quickly and went on her way. Hopefully seeing their daughter would put a smile on her husband's face, God knows what with everything that had happened today he'd need it.

Wanting to be as helpful as possible, Mikka went off to do exactly as she was told. The Russian allowed herself a brief look at Hotaru. It was funny, but this was honestly the first time she had even seen the girl they were suppossed to be resucing. A bitter feeling welled up in her chest as she observed the redhead's appearance. She had not been treated kindly, and in more ways than one. It renewed the girl's urge to bash some heads all over again.
The Russian turned away with a small scowl, opting to instead complete the task given to her. There were small, barely notable rings of sadness around her eyes as she lowered herself down beside Matsuda's body. Mikka had seen a lot of death in her days, but it was still upsetting when it happened to people who didn't deserve it. She uttered a short funeral prayer in Russian. Although not the religious type, the Ookami figured it was appropriate.
Now came the real problem. While she was strong, Mikka couldn't lift a guy as big as Matsuda by herself. Not without it getting... messy. And she was pretty sure no one wanted that.

Aiden nodded to Eva and attempted a smile at the thought of soon seeing his little girl... He would need that. He got up as Eva headed off though. There were tasks to be accomplished... And he felt like he needed to help as long as he could move and wasn't in immediate danger of dying so he headed to the side of the ambulance. It seemed as if the Russian (Mikka, wasn't it?) was going to have a bit of trouble loading up Matsuda. "Let me help." He said, voice a tired monotone. He had carried the Ookami all the way here on his own. He could help carry him the six steps from here into the truck.
Jack gave a grateful smile to Minori and got into the cab of the vehicle. The whole ordeal was nearly over. In a little while they'd be at the hospital and everyone would get fixed up and then he could take Ruru HOME...

"Da, thank you." Mikka smiled, although she didn't expect her clan mate to return the expression. Everyone had been through more than their fair share of hardships today. "I suppose it would work best if we each take a side." That would be the easiest way to get him into the truck. The Russian was strong enough to take one side on her own so it would probably work out fine.
