Eva hurried to get out of the manor, heading straight for the ambulance outside as she carried Hotaru. The redhead she was holding had passed out just a few moments after she had escaped the Kuma, and she wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not.
The blond Tora made it out of the manor and to the ambulance without any problems. She was in such a hurry to set Hotaru down on the spare bed that she hadn't even noticed what was going on around her. Keisko and Mini are sobbing, and Matsu...
"B-Babe...?" she asked, looking up at her husband. Aiden was covered in blood, but she knew he'd be fine. Matsuda on the other hand...

Aiden put Matsu down on the sheet as Keisko instructed. "I'm... I'm sorry, Keisko..." He finally managed to say. As unoriginal and unhelpful it must have sounded, at least it was true...
He nearly jumped at the sound of a familiar voice. Within moments and despite his injuries Aiden was over by Eva. She was alright... thank god she was alright. He pulled her close in relief and kissed her.

Looking at her from the outside, one might have thought Mikka appeared unfeeling and cold. Her face was completely blank and whatever awareness there could have been in her gaze was lost deep within herself. However, in actuality the Russian was feeling a great deal, most of which were emotions she could not identify. It was a mixture of things- sadness, perhaps, and confusion.
Mikka knew that in theory, losing people you loved was supposed to hurt a great deal. But the Ookami had never been close enough to anyone to understand the sorts of connections people called love, and therefore she could not fully understand having someone taken away. Her mother, perhaps, but she hadn't even been a day old when she had died... Emotions hadn't even been a factor.
But still, she felt as though she should be doing or saying something. However, having no idea what, kept a tactful silence.

Eva's eyes widen in shock for a short moment before wrapping her arms around him and kissing him back. She wouldn't have mind keeping it going a while longer, but there was still stuff they needed to get done.
She pulled back and looked up at Aiden, trying not to show any panic in her eyes. She'd never seen him like this before. "Wh-what happened with you guys...?" she asked hesitantly.

Aiden glanced to Matsuda's corpse, unsure of what to say really. "We... I..." He started a few sentences but could complete none of them. How could he properly explain seeing Matsuda getting stabbed? Seeing the cannibal lick the blood off of the blade and then go back and attack again? Given time, he would be able to explain, but not now. Certainly not now...
Jack was the last to make his way up to the small temporary encampment at the edge of the manor property. He was bleeding from the leg and back, and he ached everywhere, but he certainly wasn't the worst off of the group. "...Guys?" He asked, seeing the hunched figures... He was relieved that Eva was alright, but why was everyone so sad looking? What had happened?

It was at this point Mikka knew how to make herself useful. The younger Ookami- Jack, she recalled- was clearly injured (as well as properly confused). The Russian assumed he had some close connection or another with the man who had died (Mikka herself felt some sadness, but not knowing him, had distanced herself from it). An emotional response was likely, but probably not healthy considering he was injured. And since their medic and currently... preoccupied (the term seemed crude but it was the only one she could think to use,) Mikka figured she could handle bandaging Jack at least. God knew she had patched herself up more than enough times.
The Russian peeled herself away from the ambulance and quickly made her way over to Jack, intercepting him before he got any closer to the body.
"You are injured, comrade. Let's get those fixed up first before anything else, da?" Not giving him the option to decline, Mikka grabbed her clan mate's hand and towed him towards the ambulance. Her pace was quick and her strides long, hopefully not giving him the chance to see anything that would make him... upset.

Aiden shot Mikka a grateful look as she dragged Jack off. With luck she could keep him occupied. Aiden was still bleeding quite a bit himself, but he could wait until the others were patched up properly.
Jack stumbled along with Mikka, too focused on keeping from tripping to glance around or focus on much else. "Wh... where's Ruru?" He managed to ask, though. She was safe, right? They HAD gotten her out?

"She is safe, I can promise you that." Mikka smiled reassuringly as she took Jack by the shoulder as steered him to sit on the edge of the vehicle, making sure it was at an angle where he couldn't see anything... upsetting. It took a couple seconds for her to rustle together want she needed, which more or less amounted to bandages and disinfectant- none of the fancier tools; Mikka was used to doing much cruder repairs.
The Russian looked her "patient" over for a moment, quickly determining that his most pressing injuries were in both the back and leg. The leg was easier, so she would handle that first. Mikka knelt down, looking over the wound. It was deep (both wounds were, actually); he would probably need stitches later. But she could let a doctor handle that, since one was probably available.
"I am going to have to wrap this tightly, so I apologize if it hurts," the white-haired girl murmured, lifting the Ookami's leg and balancing it on her knee. "However, the pressure will stop the bleeding, so it is quite necessary." She pushed aside the slashed part of his pants, which gave her plenty of room to apply disinfectant. This was followed by quickly wrapping a roll of bandages around the wound, making sure to pull it as tightly as possible. The blood didn't phase her one bit. Mikka had seen plenty of it in her short life as a fugitive.
Now it came time to deal with the back. That would be slightly trickier. Mikka grabbed a new roll of bandages, knowing she would need plenty more.
"You'll have to remove your shirt, I'm afraid," she stated briskly. "I won't be able to treat your back otherwise."

Jack just nodded and did as he was told. He was sort of floating in a hazy neither here nor there state brought along by the relief that Ruru was safe and possibly a bit of blood loss. He managed to pull his shirt off with minor difficulty, his back seared with pain if he moved his shoulders the wrong way... but he got it off in the end.

Mikka quietly thanked Jack and angled herself so that she could properly examine the wound. She set the bloodstained gloves she had been wearing aside and began moving her fingers around the inflicted area. After a few seconds, the Russian leaned over and grabbed the disinfectant. Although she usually wasn't this careful, Mikka figured it was probably better to be more careful with a body that was not her own. She did what she could to wipe the dried blood away as she worked, but it was pointless considering that Jack was still bleeding.
The Russian decided to start with the bandages before he lost any more blood. She began wrapping the bandages around his torso. She would have to work more slowly, as that was a more delicate area to work with. The bandages would have to go all the way up the torso and maybe over the shoulders in order to stay in place.
Mikka began to hum a soft tune as she worked, a lullaby she had learned while living in Russia. The humming turned into quiet, mindless singing, which was cut off when the Ookami finally decided to speak.
"You love Hotaru very much," she analyzed softly. "Not many people go to such extremes for others." Mikka paused, tugging the current row of bandages tighter. She was being uncharacteristically kind, but she figured Jack deserved it. "You are good man."

Eva glance over at Mikka and Jack as she was taking care of his wounds, then she looked back up at Aiden. So much blood... she knew not all of it was his, otherwise he'd be passed out right now, but still...
"Baby, you need to sit down." she said, keeping her voice soft considering the circumstances. Before he could say anything she dragged him over to the ambulance and sat him near Jack so he'd be next in line to be bandaged up. She stayed standing, but kept an arm around him still as she pushed back some of his hair. The two of them weren't normally ones for showing affection around others, but who gave a shit about reputations right now? This was far more important.

Keisko sat crying over Matsuda's body while everyone else moved on with everything. She hated showing her emotions in front of everyone like this. She hated the fact that Matsuda was dead. She hated the psychos that did this. She hated it all!
Keisko pulled in a few deep breaths, brushed Matsuda's hair off his face and whipped her tears. She had to be strong for him. She had to help his sister and all his closest friends. She couldn't just stick around and cry over his body while people bled out. She brushed his face again and stood up, wobbling on her legs slightly.
"Alright... who needs the most immediate help?" She asked the group softly. Her tears still stained her cheeks and continued to fall, but she wasn't a sobbing mess... she'd do that later...

Aiden shook his head as Eva led him to the ambulance, but didn't protest otherwise. He really didn't have the energy to, mentally OR physically speaking. He was tired and in pain... but getting medical attention was the last thing on his mind at the moment. Everyone else...
Well, he would say everyone should be taken care of first... but without Matsu... he supposed there was no one else that needed treatment other than Jack and himself... and the Cross woman who had... stabbed, maybe? He wasn't certain, and it was hard to tell.
Jack flinched at the disinfectant's sting as a reflex and just nodded to Mikka. "Thank you." He said, both for the medical attention and the compliment... He wasn't sure how well deserved it had been though... He had been the one that had let Hotaru get abducted in the first place..

Eva looked over at Keisko when she heard her. The Tora frowned a little, but waved the other blond over. Keis' was their main medic after all, shooing her aside wasn't really the best option. "I think Aiden's the only other one that needs it." she told her simply. After that they could go to the hospital, Eva was already making a mental note of things to tell the doctors when they brought Hotaru in.
Unfortunately one of those happened to possibly be trying to get some anti-depressants for the redhead. With everything that had happened to her, plus when she would find out about Matsuda... Eva just didn't wanna chance it. She'd talk to Jack about it later though, he'd be the one responsible for Hotaru after all.

"I know things are different here, but do not let yourself feel any guilt about what has happened. There are bad people everywhere and you cannot keep everyone from ending up hurt." Mikka finished off the statement by giving the bandages a final tug. For normally being unable to "sense the mood," the Russian was doing a pretty good job of guessing what was on her clanmate's mind.
She offered him a small smile, a departure from her normal smirking smugness. "In life there are always a few casualties. The important part is that you do the best you can to fix it." The Ookami turned to set aside the excess bandages (of which there were not much) and added, "We all will eventually carry scars, my friend, there in no choice in that. What you can choose is whether to let those scars define you."
Mikka hopped up from her perch, taking a few short seconds to look over the bandages. They would do a good job of keeping Jack from bleeding anymore, at least until someone with medical expertise to look at him. She didn't really offer a final statement before heading off in another direction, instead deciding to let her advice sink in a bit as she walked off.
