Hana felt the head wound for a short moment before collapsing, she might have even thanked them if she was still breathing. All these years, never feeling, she never realized just how much she'd missed it until it finally happened.
In a weird, twisted, complicated way you could say Hana got what she wanted in the end, just like always. It would explain why the look on her face was so happy, the little puppeteer had won even when she'd lost.

Cross watched the girl slump to the ground and sighed with relief. She grimaced and groaned when her side --which the knife was still sticking out of-- was hit with pain. "It's over." she breathed as she looked down at the bloody girl. She looked at Mikka. "Could you make sure she's really dead?" she asked. She would herself but the thought of bending down made her side flare with pain.

Sam barely had time to register what had happened after the conversation between the three girls. He supposed he was glad that the earring sensors were designed for as much visibility as possible, because as soon as Hana collapsed on the floor, looking quite dead but somehow content, Sam was off at a run toward the door he knew Cross and Mikka had gone into. Using the screen on one of his wristbands, he was able to access a map of the manor and locate Cross quickly.
Sam burst into the area whee the fight had happened, saw with his own eyes the damage that had been inflicted on Cross, and vaulted over Hana's body to stand by the only person he felt he really knew.
"I suppose I won't bother asking if you're okay," he said, trying his darnedest to quip as he put an arm over Cross's shoulders. It was lucky she hadn't yanked the knife out; the wound was already bleeding pretty badly. "You'd probably just look me dead in the eye and tell me that it's just a flesh wound."

Cross looked down at the knife that stuck out of her left side and gave a humorless slight laugh. "Yea, just a flesh wound." she stated grinning. She was still waiting on Mikka's determination over whether Hana was dead or not, but once she got that she'd have to get some help getting out of the house. "I'm alright enough..." she stated quietly as she thought about Mini's scream earlier. She had a sinking feeling Matsuda was badly hurt... or dead.
"Mikka? What's the verdict?"

While Sam had started to worry over his clan mate's wound, Mikka turned to face the fallen Tora. She flipped her crowbar in her hand, completely without expression. Without a single sound, the Russian drove the sharp end straight into Hana's chest. If she hadn't been dead before, she certainly was now. Mikka wasn't the type to take chances, sonshe wanted to be absolutely sure before even looking for signs of life. The Ookami squatted down beside the body, heckling both the girl's neck and wrists for a pulse. There was nothing. There wasn't anything in the Russian's eyes, no satisfaction and no remorse, as she looked down at her opponent's face.
"May you rest in peace," she murmured, using two fingers to slid the lids of Hana's eyes closed. She continued to stare at the blood that was still pooling around the girl's body. When she heard Cross's voice she slowly rose, glancing cooly over her shoulder at the Kumas.
"She is gone," the Russian stated.

It was over... Hana was finally gone. Cross no longer had to look over her shoulder to look for the demented little girl. "Good. Thanks." she stated staring down at the bloody girl. She was smiling in a way Cross had never seen on her. It was an actual smile. "At least she died happy." she muttered turning away.
She looked at the knife in her side with a grimace. "I've gotta get this thing outta me." She could pull it out herself... but she knew she'd start to bleed out. The gash was rather deep, down to the hilt of the large knife. Her eyes started to flutter as she started to feel woozy. Her body started to fall to the side as she lost consciousness.

Sam had predicted that Cross would soon lose consciousness due to pain and blood loss, and thus was ready when she started to fall over. He stepped into place to stop her from hitting the floor, and with careful movements, placed an arm under the bend of her knees, with the other arm supporting her back. He then glanced over at Mikka, offering her as close to a grateful smile as he could muster under the circumstances.
"Thanks for having her back," Sam said before turning to exit the mansion.

Mikka nodded curtly, turning back to look at her foe's body. She couldn't help but take note of the slight similarities she had picked up on the two of them sharing; this could have easily been her if she had wandered down a different road. Both girls had gone down the path of madness, but had each gone on different branches. Mikka herself still felt, in both the emotional in physical senses, she still cared for the welfare of others. But if she had chosen another direction... This mangled corpse could have been her.
The Russian sighed, leaning down to push some hair from Hana's face. She straightened up and scanned the room, clenching and unclenching her fists before billowing out of the room, figuring she'd either wander her way outside or into someone else.
