Keisko sat at the base of a tree somewhere on the outskirts of the Gigaplant Forest. She wasn't sure why she'd come here but the smell of nature was soothing. From her spot she could see the top of the Plantation Manor which housed 3 psychos and her boyfriend's sister.
She pulled her knees up to her chest and placed her chin on them with a sigh. Being in Kuma territory probably wasn't the best idea in the world, but Keisko couldn't help it. She needed to get away from things and the forest seemed like the best place. She really hoped Matsuda would show up. She'd sent him a message telling him where she'd be.

Matsuda had made his way to the forest the moment he got Keisko's message. She didn't sound particularly anxious exactly, but he could tell she really wanted to see him, and really, he'd been wanting to see her all day.
The Ookami smiled softly when he noticed Keisko nearby, taking a seat beside her and ruffling her hair gently. "Hey there," he said calmly in hopes of not startling her. "You doing okay Keis?" he asked, more than a little concerned for her, he recognized that look on her face and was grateful she had asked him to meet her here. Quiet, secluded, relaxing, that was the beauty of the forest.

Keisko smiled as she saw him come up. She stretched out her legs quickly then leaned over and hugged Matsuda. "I'm doing alright..." she said with a sigh and slight smile. She was just happy he was here. The past few weeks they'd both been so busy and stressed, she hardly got the chance to see him. "How about you?" she asked looking up at him. She could see the worry lines starting to sink into his brow. Softly she reached up and started to smooth them out.

Matsuda laughed lightly, wrapping his arms around her. "I'm alright, all things considered I guess." He had somehow been declared the unofficial leader of the whole mission and getting plans and people set up for different tasks without even having another meeting just yet had been more than a little stressful on him. It wasn't a bad thing really, he had originally wanted Jack to be the one in charge, but the guy just hadn't been himself lately... He guessed he was the next best person to take the lead.
"It's just a lot to take in," he sighed, running a hand through his hair while keeping the other arm around Keis. "Didn't really think of myself at the leader kinda type." he laughed uneasily.

Keisko chuckled at Matsuda and shook her head against his chest. "You're going to be a great leader. Don't doubt yourself." she said with a smile. "You'll do just fine."
She looked out over at the top of the Manor. "Besides, out of all of us, you're probably best for the job. Jack is too emotional. If I were in his position, I would be too." she squeezed him at the thought. If it were Matsuda in Hotaru's spot she'd be a mess. There was no way she'd be able to lead anyone.

Matsuda hugged her a little tighter. "Yeah," he agreed simply. There wasn't much else he couldn't really add to that, he understood completely where Jack was coming from but somehow Matsu had been able to keep a cool head through out all of this. Then again, he wasn't there to see his sister get carted off and taken away like the younger Ookami had, so he supposed that could be one reason.
He kissed the top of her head, resting his chin on it afterwards. "We're gonna get her back, and he knows it. He's just..." he sighed. "He's been worrying me, I've sorta gotten attached to him at this point." Jack was like the little brother he never had.

Keisko could understand where he was coming from. She'd felt the same way with Madoka. "Once we get her back things should start looking up... I don't think she'll be completely there mentally though. It'll take some time before things get back to normal." she sighed and frowned. It was all so depressing but she knew there would be a light at the end of the tunnel. "Don't worry, things will get better."

Matsuda sighed. "Yeah... Eventually." he was trying to stay positive, but being in the situation they were in didn't really help. "Eva says that 'Taru gets depressed easily, she's thinking that after we get her back she'll be really bad about it." It didn't suprise him, their mother had been prone to slipping into depression pretty easily, yet another way his sister was just like their mother.

Keisko nodded. "It's bound to happen to anyone. She'll be alright though, she has so many people that love her. She'll get out of it eventually." she replied. Hotaru had so many people she could fall back on, she'd be fine. It would take a while but eventually she'd pull out of it. She looked up and smiled at Matsuda. "We're going to get her back. I promise."
