Kris had to contain his giggles at Jake's response. "Nope, not really, just cute~" he sang. "Well, maybe if you compared yourself to me, but then again I'm nowhere near the manliest guy you'd meet." and he was perfectly content with admitting it too.

Jake punched Kris's shoulder playfully, making sure to keep the false-blow gentle. He could punch pretty damn hard if he really tried, but he rarely came across a good reason to do that. "Well I only gotta be manlier than you for it to matter." Not that he really minded being called cute, a compliment was a compliment no matter how you sliced it.

Kris laughed when he was punched, grinning even more. "I guess..." he began. "But I can still pick you up!" With that he picked the blond up once again, though he deciding to make things a little more interesting and started to spin around some. He came to a slow stop when he started to get a little dizzy, still grinning as he looked at the blond. "Couldn't do that with me even if ya wanna." he pointed out childishly.

Jake clung to his boyfriend as he was swung around a bit, a laugh bubbling its way out of his throat. "Oh shut up." He laughed out, conceding the not-quite-argument to Kris in the process. He kissed the tip of the taller teen's nose to signal that the whole thing was over with. Kris was surprisingly strong, Jake noted, the blond hadn't had to use his legs (much) to keep himself at eye-level with the brunette.

Kris giggled a little more. "It's okay, you can still be the manlier one if ya wanna." he insisted. "I just get to do all the fun stuff." Really that was all that mattered to the brunette, he had seen couples break up because they simply got bored of the other after awhile as sad as it sounded. He didn't want that to be the case here, so he'd try his best!

Jake shrugged. "I don't think it's even that important right now, but sure, you can do the fun stuff." Whatever that entailed... Ah, the glory of a first relationship: figuring out how the hell they worked.

Kris beamed like a kid on Christmas. "Yayy~!!" he cheered happily, hugging the blond a little tighter. After a moment or two later he sat Jake back on his feet again. He was picking him up a lot lately, but it was either that or sitting down 'cause he really liked being eye to eye with his boyfriend after all. "So what's there to do right now ya think?" he asked happily, holding back another giggle(he wasn't too sure if that was getting annoying or not by this point).

Jake hugged his boyfriend back before he was set back down. "Well, there's some caves up that way." He pointed to an outcropping of rocks further down the beach. He knew from expeditions during middle school that there was a grotto with all sorts of neat things in it within the caves. "But there's also the boardwalk right here." He gestured to the rows of shops and games and arcades. It was free to clan members (minus the shops, that was), including the amusement park stashed away in the background. It was new enough and was put up to replace the Ancient Gear park, something Jake was rather thankful for. "So let's do some of the games around here."

Kris looked around at the shops and games. "Alright, let's go then." he smiled, lightly pulling Jake along. They could always look at the shops later on if they wanted since he actually had money for once. One of the instructors at the dance studio(his favorite one if he said so himself) hadn't been there in a while. The staff had gotten a phone call awhile back but had refused to tell him about it, but for some reason they gave the job to him until she came back. He was a little worried, but the sudden job was giving him money he hadn't had before, so he wasn't complaining.

Jake made a beeline for an arcade, soon dragging Kris just a bit instead of the other way around. His main reason for avoiding the shops right off the bat was his lack of money, he hated looking dirt-poor because he wasn't... He just didn't have any free cash or a job. Besides, there probably wasn't anything great on the boardwalk anyhow. "Whatcha wanna play first?" He asked, figuring that if he was going to wind up kicking Kris's ass in a game again he might as well let the other Tora pick which one.
