Jack blinked dumbly. "You seriously think that?" He actually had felt a glimmer of 'wow' upon hearing that name, but really, what were the odds?
...Pretty good, now that he actually thought of them, Eva and his mutual hatred had seemed to boil down more to ribbing, teasing, and the occasional (painful) punch or two. But the original 'I hate your guts' thing was gone. To be expected he supposed, a year could change people.
"I hope we get to see her too," A thought popped into his head, and Jack frowned a moment after. "Did Aiden seem... weird? At all?" He doubted Aiden wouldn't have been there for the birth, so he probably saw Eva give birth. IF there had been ANY complications... Maybe he remembered some things that Jack would really rather his elder brother forget... Matsuda had heard about Aiden's nightmares, there was no doubt (how else could he have wormed his way into Aiden's best-friend slot?), so hopefully Jack wouldn't have to explain his fears.
"Ruru~!" Tekka sang as the redhead made her way in, she was piling a kaiser roll high with meat and cheese. "I'd love some! Slap together a sammich or three! I'm making sure you don't have to eat Jack's cooking for the next few days." A cheeky grin spread across her face, her cap (the one that had once belonged to Greg, actually, it had become her favorite) slightly askew on her head. Her brother's cooking was horrible, really. Anything more than pasta was risky at best.

Matsuda frowned. "He's certainly starting to remember stuff now." he went on to explain. "Keeps asking me about his brother and a girl with red hair. I've been trying to be real careful about what I say to him, but he's not buying anything I say." he sighed. "If I wasn't so worried about if he'd go back to crazy Aiden I'd tell him, but... I'm just not sure." He could tell the bond he'd been working hard to establish between him and Aiden was starting to break, but what else could he do?
Meanwhile, Hotaru was busying herself with making lunch along with Tekka. The redhead couldn't help but grin a little with the younger blond wearing Greg's old cap. She laughed at Tekka's comment about Jack's cooking. "I'll train him someday. Don't expect him to be a gourmet chef or anything of course though." she giggled.

Jack's frown deepened. "I was afraid of that..." There was really no telling what would happen if Aiden recovered his memories. Would they be crystal clear and just as sharp and jagged as before, or would they be dulled by his new life as if they were screencaps from a movie? "And I've got no idea how to go about fixing it." It wasn't worth the risk to tell Aiden everything that had been kept from him, Jack wouldn't put Eva, Anya, Ruru, or hell, even Matsu at risk like that.
Tekka snorted. "Good luck with that, I'm the chef of the family. Jack and Aiden can play music, you can dance, Eva can kick the shit outta people, but I'M the chef. No usurping my position." This was all said with a smile though, even though the paring knife was brandished a little wildly as she spoke.

Matsuda sighed. "Me either, but we'll find a way to fix it." Somehow.
Hotaru laughed and nodded. "Yeah, but we can't always depend on your cooking skills sadly." she pointed out to her. "Gotta be able to fend for ourselves at some point."
She paused for a second. There was something she'd been wondering about for the passed few weeks. "Hey, Tekka, are you fine with me living with Jack...?" It was kind of too late to be asking, but she never really did talk to Tekka about her thoughts on it.

Honestly, Jack was surprised that Minori hadn't interrupted. Did he also know about his cousin's amnesiac friend/enemy?
Tekka paused and tapped her foot, spinning an onion around on the cutting board. "I'm alright with it, you two have been together for EVER practically." Her hand returned to slicing the pungent vegetable. "But I do have a question..." A grin was sliding back onto her face to replace her more contemplative look.

Minori had no real comment on the matter. He had heard from Matsuda about the mad Ookami nearly killing Hotaru and others, but either way, he didn't bother concerning himself in that matter, it was a little too messy for his taste.
Hotaru looked over at Tekka oddly. "Alright, shoot." she said. She was a little worried about this question...

Tekka's grin grew. "There were two other rooms you could have used, so you two are either REALLY cuddly or doin' the dirty. Which is it?" It took all of her willpower to keep from giggling. Hotaru's face would be PRICELESS!

Hotaru's face instantly felt like she'd been dipped in boiling water, she probably hadn't gone so red before in her life(and THAT was saying something). "Huh?" she asked, her voice going up an octave. "Wh-why are you, I-I mean, I uhh... what?"
It took her a few seconds to realize how stupid she must seem and took a breath. "W-well, I certainly didn't want Aiden's old room, and the other room is kinda too big for one person..." maybe if she danced around the main question she could get away with it...?

Tekka pointed the knife in her clanmate's direction, a small bit of onion flying off and sticking to Hotaru's forehead. "You're avoiding the question~!" She sang, a cheshire grin on her face.

Hotaru wiped off the small piece of onion from her forehead quickly. Then the thought came to her, why was she freaking out? The two of them hadn't done anything like that. "We haven't done anything." she finally told Tekka. "Okay?"

Tekka laughed. "I know, I know, but your reaction was hilarious!" With that, the little Tora picked up the tray of sandwiches (which had now risen to towering proportions) and began the trek out to the living room. "Lunchtime, folks!" She called, face mostly blocked by the pile of sandwiches.

Hotaru was speechless for a good moment or two before walking back into the living room. When she returned she saw Matsuda hopping off the couch and heading straight for the sandwiches.
The blond Megumi snatched a few of the sandwiches and grinned. "I'll just take these off your hands if ya don't mind." he said casually, laying back on the couch. Minori took two sandwiches, giving a slight nod to Tekka as a 'thank you'.
Hotaru took a single sandwich, taking a small bite for the moment. She was still a bit flustered from Tekka's question, but honestly, it was to be expected. She supposed she'd just have to get use to it.

As soon as the Megumi's had snatched their sandwiches, Tekka placed the tray on the table. There were still a few sandwiches on the tray. More than a few really. No one would be going hungry this visit. "Geez guys, you can wait for me to put it down next time..." She laughed out, taking one of the snacks and biting in happily.
Jack also grabbed a sandwich. Who knew when his chef-sister would come back again? Might as well eat SOMETHING that wasn't burnt until then, maybe he could stretch these out and keep from sending Ruru into the kitchen since she was the better cook between them... Seemed like a solid plan. "Ruru, guess which tiny new citizen of our city your brother got to see." He said, trying to fill in his girlfriend on what they had talked about... sort of.
He was hoping Matsuda wouldn't talk about Aiden's possible memory resurrection, but Matsuda was smart, if he thought Ruru should know, Jack honestly couldn't blame him. He just didn't want the redhead to worry.

Hotaru's eyes lit up at Jack's words. "You saw the baby~?!" she practically squealed to Matusda. She was so excited to see the little King, she half way wanted to ask if he had any pictures she could see.
Matsuda had just finished off his first sandwich. "Sure did!" before he could say another word Hotaru had hoped right in front of him like an excited little kid.
"Boy or girl? What'd they look like? What's their name? Full name, not just their first name!" she asked anxiously. She wanted to know dammit!
The blond chuckled a little at his sister's response. "Her name's Anya Jacqueline, big blue eyes and light brown hair. She's got quite a grip for a baby." he laughed. "Though it's not surprising considering her parents."
Minori simply rolled his eyes at his baby cousin's childish reactions. Her squealing and hopping was a little annoying, but deep down he guessed he liked little kids too, so he could tolerate it for the most part.

Jack nudged Minori. "Hey, show at least SOME emotion..." He tried, grinning. Ruru's enthusiasm was infectious to everyone but the other redhead it seemed. "Do I have to make a new house rule, everyone who's in here for the first time is required to smile, or something?"
Tekka gave her brother a thumbs up and a nod. "Yes~ Do it~!" She cheered before turning back to Matsuda to unleash her own barrage of questions.
"Does she look more like Aiden or Eva? Are they both sleep-deprived? Can you take pictures and show us all? WILL you take pictures and show us all? Can I get her a stuffed dinosaur and have you deliver it?" Because face it, every little kid (in Tekka's opinion) needed stuffed animals and dinosaurs were cool.
