Keisko nodded and typed it all up. "Okay. I'm going to take your blood pressure first then we'll do the blood work." She grabbed the cuff off the wall and took the blonde's blood pressure. She wrote it down on the chart.
She tied the tourniquette around the girls right arm and found the vein then cleaned the spot and grabbed her vials and syringe. "Okay this will just be a little prick." she said as she inserted the needle. Quickly and effortlessly she inserted the vials and filled them up. She grabbed a cotton ball and placed it over the needle. After she removed the needle, she placed the cotton over the hole and pressed down hard to help clot the blood. She wrapped it up in a blue bandage and backed up. "Okay, all done."
"If there's any questions or concerns you have you can ask or I'll go ahead and get the doctor."

Eva sighed and let the girl do her job. She wasn't too sure what she was suppose to do other than sit still anyway. When all was said and done Eva just shook her head. "I'm set, just get the doc in here. I wanna be done with this as soon as possible."

Keisko nodded and left the room. She paged Doctor Stevens and checked on another patient while she waited. He arrived about 5 minutes later and the two knocked and went into the room.
"Good afternoon Miss Shimazaki, I'm Doctor Stevens. So you're 2 months pregnant, no past illnesses, good medical record..." he listed off a few other things and looked up from the chart with a smile. "Well, let's get this over with shall we? I'm going to do a few tests today. They're going to be a little uncomfortable. We're going to start with the breast exam."
Keisko knew that the girl would be uncomfortable, nobody ever wasn't. These few tests were the most awkward tests out there. Granted every girl did the breast exam and pap smear yearly but along with the pelvic exam, it wasn't going to be fun. She walked over and stood by the girl's side.
Doctor Stevens led her through the exam with all the stretches as he made sure she didn't have any lumps or anything. It went quickly. "Now, I need you to lay back and place your feet in the stirrups." he explained the two procedures he was going to do. Eva was going to feel very exposed and rightly so.
"It's going to feel really uncomfortable. So if you want you can squeeze my hand." Keisko said quietly to the girl.

Eva rolled her eyes as the doctor listed off the information on his chart. She didn't care about that, and it took almost all her power not to punch the guy's lights out during the first exam. It couldn't get worse than this, it just couldn't.
Well, that was what she thought before he gave her the next set of instructions. Her eyes nearly popped out of her skull. "Like HELL I'm doin' that!" she yelled. "You're all sick!" Seriously! What the hell were they thinking?!

Both Keisko and Dr. Stevens sighed. "Miss Shimazaki, first off, the breast exam and the pap smear are regular tests that have to be taken yearly. So if you haven't had one before, that in itself could be a problem. If there's something that's wrong, these tests will catch them so it can be dealt with. If these tests are not done, there could be problems for the baby. I know it's not comfortable but these are standard tests." Dr. Stevens explained to Eva.

Eva looked between the two for a moment. She didn't wanna do this, she really didn't. It was humiliating for a girl like her to go through this kind of torture. And they just HAD to play the baby card, didn't they...?
The Tora finally sighed in surrender, doing as she was told. "I'm gonna kill Aiden for doing this to me...." she muttered. Well, she won't kill him, she'll just make the remaining months of her pregnancy just as much of a hell for him as it will be for her. Yeah, that sounded good.

Keisko suppressed a chuckled at the girl's statement while Dr. Stevens showed her what he would be using and doing. To try and distract the girl, Keisko figured she'd talk to her. "So what names were you planning for the baby?" she asked. She'd never known anyone pregnant and had honestly been curious about how the mothers thought when they went through the things like picking a name.

Eva blinked at the nurse's question. "Oh shit, that's right! I gotta name it." she slapped her forehead for not thinking of this sooner. Everything was just going by so fast. She sighed. "Well, the kid's got some fighters for parents, so it's gotta somethin' strong. Nothin' sissy or wimpy's gonna work." she thought for a moment. "I haven't actually gotten to sit down and think about it yet, I'm honestly not even sure if I'd prefer a boy or a girl." a small grin made it's way to her lips for a second before she wiped it off.

Keisko chuckled and smiled. "It's okay, you're only 2 months along. You still have plenty of time to plan out a name. Are there even sissy or wimpy names?" she asked laughing.
Dr. Stevens decided to speak up then. "Miss Shimazaki, you're going to feel a little pressure here, just try to relax."

Eva took a deep breath and tried to ignore... whatever it was that the doctor was doing. "Oh yeah." she finally replied in response to Keisko. "Or even something too fancy won't work, like my name for example. Luckily for me Evangeline's pretty easy to shorten." she grinned a little, remembering the first time someone called her something other than Evangeline. It was actually Aiden, when they were little and had first met. She had liked the nickname so much she had kept it with her a good portion of her life.

Keisko laughed. "So would my name, Keisko, be frilly or too fancy or whatever?" she asked both curious and to help distract the girl. She'd never given any thought to her name really. In her eyes, names were just names, they didn't make a person who they were.

Eva shrugged. "Keisko?" she asked to clarify. "Ehh, a little girly for my taste to be honest." she shrugged. "But it's not a bad name, I can think of tons worse than that." she grinned.

Keisko chuckled and shook her head. Often many people would mistake her name for a guy's, so she really couldn't see how Eva thought it was girly. "Miss Shimazaki. I'm done here. I'll go get the ultrasound equipment. You can put your clothes back on now." Dr. Stevens said with a smile as he moved her feet out of the stirrups and put them away. Keisko followed him out thinking the whole thing went well.

Eva let out a sigh of relief, now all the hard stuff was over with. She had no trouble whatsoever with getting back into her normal clothes. After she was dressed she sat down and waited for them to come back.
To pass the time the blond tried to think of lullabies she could sing to the baby later on. That was what mothers did, right? They sang to their kids to make them go to sleep. It was just a matter of what song would be fitting. There was one that came to mind that Avery use to sing to her when she was little. Eva thought hard to remember the words to the song.
"La la lou, la la lou, Oh my little star sweeper, I'll sweep the star dust for you..."
She jumped and cut it off when she heard the door click open again. She didn't want anyone seeing her defenses down like that unless they were certain people.

Keisko followed Dr. Stevens back into the exam room while pushing the ultrasound equipment. She set up the monitor and made sure everything was good to go.
"Okay Eva, I'm going to need you to lay down and pull up your shirt so we can get to your stomach. The gel is going to be cold on you, just a warning." Dr. Stevens said. "Hopefully we're going to be able to see your baby."
