The work day had been onthe slower side for Fred today, especially considering the usual rush that came with the Allure. True, the night was having it's fair share of madness, as expected with any given nightclub, but at the moment there was a sudden lack of action at the bar. Fred was taking advantage of this undoubtedly short moment to relax. He hadn't seen Seishy come in at all today, which could only leave him to wonder what trouble the Tora boy could possibly get into... Although the worry was always in the back of his mind. He didn't doubt Seishy could take care of himself, it we other people he didn't trust.

Hi hadn't bothered getting dressed up for the bar tonight, she was on a mission, and she needed a drink. She went up to the bar, fighting her way through the crowd of dancing people, brief case in hand. She made her way to a stool and sat herself down, slamming the brief case on the bar. She said loudly over the music, "Give me the strongest thing you have, and make it fast please." She wasn't looking at Fred when she said this but was focusing on the task at hand. She opened the case and took out two stacks of paper work that she needed to do. She stared at it, pen in hand but she couldn't bring herself to begin, and she sighed. She would wait for her drink.

Fred looked at the frustrated woman for a moment, taking a minute to recognize her as the girl Seishiro sometimes brought into the Allure with him. However, this time she seemed to be alone. Fred took a second to process this before quickly turning around and getting her a drink. He wasn't sure what it was, but something was causing aggrivation to rise off her in waves.
"There you go, strongest thing we've got." He slid the glass over to her, peering at the papers she was grumbling at as he did so. With his always constant air of curt politeness Fred asked, "May I inquire as to the occasion?"

Hi sighed, picked up the glass and took a big drink. She sighed again and pointed to the paper work and said, "Paper work." Then took another swig of the mysterious concoction and pick up her pen. She stared down at the thing she despised, and dropped the pen again. She looked up at Fred, a went through her frustrated brain to remember who he was. She smiled apologetically, "I'm sorry, I'm being rather rude aren't I? I'm Hi, and work for the hospital, I'm new so there is a ton of paperwork I have to fill out. As you can see, I don't really like paper work." She stuck out her hand, "It's nice to meet you."

The Tora shook Hi's hand politely while introducing himself. "Fred. It's very nice to meet you Hi." So this was the doctor friend Seishiro was always talking about (mostly complaining, but in a fond way). He'd also seen this girl partying about with the sparkly young man as well, but he'd never pegged them as the same person. Hi looked REALLY young to be a full-fledged doctor.
"Your Seishiro's friend, aren't you?" He asked, wanting to be sure.

Hi nodded, "Yes, we've been friends since we were kids." She saw the surprise on his face when she said she was a doctor. It didn't bother her that much anymore, but it still made her realize how far she had come in such little time. She thought for a moment and asked, "Your Seishy's friend too right? He mentioned you once or twice." She took another sip of her drink and forgot for a moment about the two large stacks of paper in front of her. It was nice to have a completely normal conversation at the end of the day, instead of ones about medicine and health. Not to mention that it wasn't often that she got to talk to a hot guy so casually.

"Sometimes I feel more like a parent than a friend." Fred sighed melodramatically. "It'll be a miracle when that kid finally decides to grow up." That certainly wouldn't be anytime soon. But honestly, the boy had no reason to. He had no need to work and no responsiblities. Most people wouldn't just throw that away for the needless stress of "adult-living." Of course there were those on the othe end of the spectrum, like Fred, who had to grow up quite a bit earlier than most. Certainly Hi too, considering the fact that she was already a doctor at such a young age.

Hi sighed as well, "I agree. But you know, I think I act more like a older sister then a parent to him." She smiled and took another sip from her magical concoction. Really, usually the club was louder but some how the music seemed soft today, she didn't need to shout like she usually did. Hi was surprised to not see Seishy here, he usually was.
Hi thought of another topic, "So, when did you start working here? Not to mention how you met Seishy, I bet that's an interesting story." Hi wondered if Seishy was sneezing by now, a Japanese myth that you sneeze when people talk about you. An interesting myth indeed.

Fred thought for a moment. Just how long had he been at the Allure? Well, he'd started just after he turned twenty so... "I started working here about five years ago. I never saw a point in stopping." Not that he could if he had a choice. Someone had to put dinner on the table. "As to how I met Seishy..." The Tora paused. "It's not exactly a surprising story." It had been right around the time he started working here, hadn't it? Seishiro had only been around sixteen or so then.
"He was just a kid then, although he obviously was already a regular here. Anyway, to make a long story short he get kept tryin to hit on me. I thought it was pretty amusing so I gave him his drink and sent him on his way." Fred smirked."By the time my shift ended, he was completely smashed. I ended up driving him home." This was followed by a throaty chuckle.
"I've been keeping an eye on him ever since. I guess I feel responsible for him, in one way or another." He shrugged.

Hi smiled, "Seems like him, well then." Seishy had gone through a very weird phase, including when he was interested in sex. He was about sixteen so Hi must of been around eighteen when he asked, "Hey do you want to have sex?" Before he even finished the last word Hi had slapped him across the face so hard that he fell to the floor. She gave him a talking to and ever since Seishy has not said anything that stupid again.
Hi focused back to the present after her flashback and nodded, "Five years huh? That pretty long to work as a bartender, have you ever wanted to do something else?" Hi had remembered the stack of papers beneath her arms just then, gave them a disgusted glace and returned her attention to Fred again. Anything to not do that.

"Not really." Fred rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "I don't really know what else I'd be able to do with myself. I haven't any real education to speak of, and this is basically what I'm good at." He shrugged. There was no way he could possibly afford to go back to school, all his income went to taking care of his family. If only his mother could find a job... But even then, he'd just use the extra cash on other expenses. There were always bills to catch up on, food to buy... The list never stopped. "It doesn't bother me at all," the Tora added, "it is what it is."

Hi shrugged, "As long as your happy and it pays the bills." She smiled and took another sip of her drink before she tried to get to work. She picked up the pen and stared down at the page. Why on Earth would she have to answer these questions? She thought that the paperwork was over once she got the job, but apparently... not.
Hi answer about ten questions before she could take it no more, she through down her pen and chugged down her alcoholic beverage. She felt her face flush, a sure sign of what was to come now that she was getting drunk.

Fred watched Hi's actions with an amused look in his eyes. A soft, barely audible chuckle escaped him, causing his shoulders to shake slightly. He found the Kuma girl's obvious frustration quite funny, especially when it was over something as simple as paperwork. Clearly she was not very happy with the various forms before her.
"Do you really find it that terrible?" Fred smirked. He took Hi's empty glass and set it aside. If she wanted any more she'd say so, but the Tora was assuming any more alcohol and she might end up a tad more than tipsy.

Hi sighed, "Yes." she said bitterly. Hi had a long and sad story of why she hated paperwork, it involved her parents death. There was so much paperwork to be done after their untimely death, paperwork for releasing the bodies, permission to bury the bodies, taxes, ect. There was so much in a time of distress and sadness that the hatred seemed easy for her. Hi wasn't one to blame people for things, but she was perfectly fine to blame objects. Paperwork was kind of like her outlet for all her stress, something to blame when everything falls apart. (Hi was a psychologist after all, analyzing was her specialty.)
Unfortunately, Hi was now full blown drunk... and she was a little, lets say emotional. She stared down at the paperwork, she glared at it. But no matter how much the she wished that it would magically go away, it was still there. Out of anger, she grabbed a fist full of papers and threw them into the air. As she did this, she yelled, "I can't take this anymore!" And so, as the papers fell to the floor, she slammed her head and the bar surface and burst into sobs.

At first the Tora could only stand and watch as discarded paperWork cascaded down around him. However, being the gentleman he was, Fred's instincts instantly drove him to comfort the sobbing girl. He leaned in towards her, pulling out a white hanky as he did so.
"You shouldn't let something this trival ruin your face with tears," the Brit sighed, leaving the cloth beside Hi's hidden face. "Tell you what, why don't I assist you with this ordeal? I'll help you fill out your paperwork, just as long as you stop crying." He had time, he supposed. Besides, he couldn't leave a pretty girl crying like that, even if she was drunk.
