Throat cleared, hair all neat and nice looking, and breath...wait breath..Michael took his hands and cupped them and pulled them close to his mouth and blew into him and quickly took a wiff of his breath. It smeeled like mint which was a good thing. Today would be the first time he had really been on a date with his girlfriend. Michael looked rather nice tonight, he wasn't wearing his jacket instead he was wearing a black button up shirt and a pair of normal not baggy normal blue jeans.
Resting in his back pocket was his wallet and it held the $60 dollars his mother had given to him for this event of his. The Wok was the place he was taking Lynn tonight for there date and to be honest the normally chill and calm teen was...well nervous something that didn't really happen when it came to him. Michael stood at the door hands in his pockets now waiting for Lynn to show up.

Lynn ran toward the Wok, she was going to be late if she didn't hurry! She certainly didn't want to keep Mike waiting. This was their first official date and she didn't want to mess it up at all! As the restaurant neared, the blue-haired Ookami slowed down and began walking, trying to fix her hair as she went. It had gotten a bit tangled in her mad dash, but with a few tugs from he fingers it fell back into place. Catching her second wind she gave herself one final look over to see if her dress was alright. It was light purple and came to a bit below her knees but was light and good for the few remaining days of summer.
She wore no make-up, for the little Ookami didn't know how to apply it, nor did her mother have any. She was regretting it a little, wondering if she looked nice enough. She hadn't been on a date before, and she wanted it to be memorable. Taking a deep breath she turned the corner and walked over to Mike with a smile. She could do this.

Michael had his eyes closed still waiting for Lynn to show up and he himself had his back leaning on the wall of the Wok, Michael knew that Lynn would show she wasn't the type of person to not show up for something this important to both of them. And when he heard the sound of foot steps coming from around the corner the teen opened his eyes and pushed off the wall, and his head looked to the sound of the footsteps to see Lynn came from the corner and walked towards him with a smile.
She looked nice like always Michael returned her smile and said, "Hey Lynn don't you look nice tonight." and then he walked towards the door pulling it open and holding it waiting for Lynn to walk through first. After all it was lady first...after all his father had told him that. His dad had even told him what to when they got inside and found a place to sit. "Ladies first Lynn." spoke the teen and one could tell from the sound of voice he was a little nervous about how well this date was going to turn out. He just hoped that his need to flirt with...well pretty girls would just go away and he wouldn't feel the need to open his mouth when he saw one...well besides Lynn he'd flirt with her and only her.

Lynn smiled. "Thank you." She said, not so much surprised as happy with Mike's gentlemanly behavior. She gave a small curtsy before walking in and looking around. The Wok really was a nice restaurant, and luckily for them it didn't seem to be too crowded this evening.

As Lynn walked in Michael himself slipped in and behind her where he then placed his arms around her, "Good thing this place isn't that full of people." spoke Michael he was really happy about that. It meant things would go a little bit easier on the date and he smiled kissing Lynn on the cheek gently. "Why don't we go find ourselves a seat?" asked the boy to his girlfriend and he waited for her to response.
As he did this Michael let himself fall into a deep thought about how he could maybe screw these things up, I really hope I don't screw this up.

Lynn blushed lightly and nodded, taking one of Michael's hands in her own almost on reflex. She liked holding his hand, she liked being kissed by him, she really hoped this went well. "Right," She agreed, refusing to let her shyness take over and make her silent. She had to break out of her shell someday, might as well be today. She glanced around the restaurant and pointed to one of the booths. It seemed private enough, nearly no one was near it but it afforded one a good view of the restaurant and the outside world with its position. "How about there?" She suggested softly, a blush still dusting her cheeks.

Michael looked down at his hand being held by Lynn and then looked up at her smiled...this felt nice he really enjoy holding Lynn's hand in fact he really enjoyed being with her she made him happy and he hoped that he wouldn't do anything to screw that over. "Yeah that's perfect." spoke Michael as he lead the way towards the booth that Lynn had pointed out. It seemed like the perfect place for there date, when they got there Michael let go of Lynn's hand and slid into the booth and then waited for Lynn to sit down.

Lynn followed Mike and took her seat opposite of him. This was nice, really nice. And with luck it would only get nicer as the evening wore on. A few moments after they took their seats and waiter strode up to them. He was a thin man with slicked back dark hair, perhaps in his early twenties. He smiled at the pair of them. "Hello there," He said smoothly, professionally. "My name is Hotaka and I'll be your server for the evening. Can I start you off with anything to drink?" He took out a small notebook and smiled at them.
"Um... just water for me..." The Ookami said shyly. She was with Mike, she should be bolder than this.
Somehow she didn't quite believe herself.

Michael watched as the waiter came up to him and he smiled at the man, "I'll have a coke if you have it sir." spoke the teen as he watched the man walk off to get their drink after he gave both a menu. Michael opened his menu and looked at it, "You know this will be my first time eating here do you know of anything good Lynn?" asked Michael to the girl sitting a cross from him.

Lynn took a menu, it's size almost obscuring her entirely from view as she perused the pages. She put a finger to her lips in thought. "Well..." She said, "The Chicken Marsala is great, it's one of my top five favorites. And the burgers are good too." Despite her size and demeanor, Lynn was a carnivore through and through. Her father always made really good dishes, so when she liked something it was always very good.
She hummed a little as she looked through the menu. Eyes settling down on a chicken wrap. Well... there was no need to freak Mike out with her love of good red meat. She'd have something simple.

Michael put his menu down and looked at Lynn raising an eyebrow, "Top five Favorites?" he questioned her he was really teasing her though she hoped she wouldn't mind at the moment. He then picked up his menu again and the his eyes fell upon one of his most Favorites food. Tacos....yes Tacos....he'd get a-no not one but THREE Tacos. Michael put the menu down and smiled, "I know what I'm getting." spoke Michael giving a great big smile.
The teen then placed his on the table and looked at Lynn, "So what have you been up to?" he asked her.

Lynn blushed a little and smiled at the teasing. "What? A girl's gotta eat." She just smiled wider as Mike seemed to find something. The bluenette set her menu aside, she didn't have much use for i- Were those milkshakes? Yes... yes they were. She made a note to see if she could have dessert.
When he asked, she shrugged. "Not a lot, though school starts up again next week, so that will give me something to do." Her summers were always peaceful. Or, usually anyway.

School? Wow Michael hadn't heard that word in forever truth be told he never really went to school...it was always duel, duel, and duel for him and well School just really seemed to be the least of his problems. Within a few minutes their waiter had returned and had given them their drinks before pulling out a pad to take their orders. "Now what will you be having?" asked the waiter.
Michael cleared his throat and then looked at the young man, "I'll take 3 Tacos and if you could add a little extra meat and cheese to them thanks." spoke the teen as he handed his menu back to the man.
"And what about you miss?"

Lynn smiled. "I'll have the chicken wrap with extra sauce... and, um... french fries on the side, please?" She said softly, though not quite as shyly as before. The waiter (Hotaka or something, right?) nodded and headed off to get their meals. The small teen looked back over to Mike. "So what about you? Anything new?"

Michael looked at Lynn when she asked if he was up to anything new, "Me? I've been doing the normal stuff dueling, eating, playing games with twisted little freak..." the last part was half a joke and half not...he still remembered his little game with foster and he didn't like ti very much at all. Bugged him a lot truthfully the damn kid was smart and had beat the crap out of him...which always seem to be the case with him. However Michael played the comment off as a joke, "Mind if I steal kiss?" he asked Lynn chuckling.
