Kyou blinked and then whispered a question into Ayumu's ear. "Should I ask the 'how' question, East?" He was pretty sure that he might be starting to get on his sister's nerves with his comments. What could he say, something about the siblings in front of them made him want to be an active member of the peanut gallery. He wasn't sure what it was though...

"Does the studio audience have anything to say?" Kaito commented flatly, giving the other two Toras a dull, glassly look. They weren't really annoying him, it was the fact that Yukiko felt the need to flant their personal history in front of everyone in the store. He wasn't the type of person to enjoy putting his history out in the open. Although it wasn't odd, to have a dad that walked out on you, he'd rather not subject anyone else to his little sob story; no matter how badly his sister wanted sympathy (which he undoubtly thought she did).
"Stop being rude." Yukiko hissed quickly, elbowing him in the side. Her gaze, normally a pleasant earthy green, had turned poisonous.

He glanced back to the Tora and grinned. "Just waiting for the cue card from those stage hands. I think they're slacking off..." Well, if he was going to treat them like it, why not play along? Not like it could do too much harm. Besides, he was becoming more and more certain that he wasn't in any danger the more he saw the Tora's actions. Angsty? Totally. Dangerous (at least to him)? Probably not so much.

Ayumu frowned at hearing the words exchanged between her brother and the other Tora. She tugged on Kyou's hand for a moment. "West..." she muttered. "Don't start anything..." she practically pleaded. Whether or not he would actually go on or not she wasn't sure of.

It was then Kaito did something shocking. The corners of his lips twitched, turning up ever so slightly into... was it possible? Yes, that was a smile. Yukiko half expected fireworks or an explosion as a result, so rarely did this sort of thing occur.
The blue-haired Tora sighed melodramatically, playing along with the other man's words. "Good help is so hard to find these days," he jokingly agreed, glancing over at his peers from beneath a wall of hair. The half-smirk was still present. Yukiko had to make a phsyical effort to keep her jaw from dropping. He was actually humouring someone.
It was almost scarier now than before Kaito had smiled. By this point the Ookami had no clue what he would do next- skip through a meadow or bash someone's brains in. At this rate, anything was possible.

Kyou grinned wider, glad that the other Tora (he looked about his age, it was hard to tell if he was older or younger, really) was playing along. "It's a wonder their jobs haven't been snatched up by robots yet." He shook his head. "I suppose we're just downsizing, pity that..." Wherever he was pulling this stuff from, he wasn't sure, but he was glad it existed.

"Yeah, we've been cutting jobs for awhile now. Damn economy." Kaito's grin widened a centimeter. He liked the Tora, he decided. Not to the point where he would have a long heart-to-heart with the man, but it was a small step above complete indifference. "It's only a matter of time before we all get the boot."

Kyou laughed and tapped his bag. "Not me, I'm a photographer and my camera likes me too much to revolt." Well, he hoped so anyway. It would be painful if the little device DID decide to rise up against him. "Besides, I'm only here for the snacks." He gestured to the brimming cart, its thick layer of sweets coating the entire top of it. His mind then returned to his and his sisters rather pertinent dilemma. He was supposed to be giving his sales pitch, right...

"Ah, so you came for the chocolate too." The Tora glanced back at Yukiko who, within the few seconds he had taken his eyes off her, had managed to sneak off and return with a armful of candy bars and a satisfied grin.
"Will you get me chocolate now Kaito?" She drawled, trying to act as cute as possible.
"Not after you took my wallet, you twat." Her brother grumbled, turning his attention back to the other Tora. However, Yukiko was quickly starting to dominate his part in the conversation.
"So you're a photographer?" She inquired earnestly. "That's so cool! You probably get a lot of freedom with stuff like that, don't you? I'd love to be able to do stuff like that."

Ayumu, who had been silent most of the time and was glad to see things were settled down now, smiled kindly at Yukiko's words. "My brother's the best photographer out there!" she said confidently. She wasn't lying either, Kyou's photos were certainly better than any of the others she had seen from other pictures. The blond Takeda nudged her twin slightly for him to continue. She'd always be willing to get out of her little box of timidness if it involved Kyou even a little bit.

Kyou grinned, unable to keep a small blush from rising. He wasn't the best in his own opinion (there were some photos from way back when that put his to shame, though since he didn't have a computer or editing software, he supposed that might be the reason) but he wasn't all that bad either. "I can show you some, if you'd like." He said smoothly, fairly sure that the Ookami was going to be easier to persuade than her brother. He slipped his hand back into his bag and pulled out some of the photos, a few choice ones depicting several different scenes. There was a landscape, a cityscape, a few portraits, and some others mixed in for good measure. Having a good selection was essential to selling them.

Yukiko silently peeked at the photos, her eyes brushing over them with a soft, gossamer touch. She had always had a hidden weakness for good photography. The magic often captured in a single shot could easily rob her of her breath for a spell-bound moment.
Kaito, on the other hand, knew what the other Tora was up to. It didn't take a genuis to see Yukiko would easily wind up purchasing photos. Not that he cared; at least as long as it wasn't HIS money.
"This are amazing." The Ookami girl murmured, tilting her head gently to one side.

Kyou practically beamed at the praise, half because it meant she'd be more likely to buy a few of the snapshots and half because he genuinely liked finding people who enjoyed his work. The photos were just colors on paper, no real meaning to them other than what they depicted and what a viewer assigned to it from their own experiences. He supposed that was why he loved it, something that was essentially useless bringing forth emotions from a viewer and bringing out its own inner value.
"Thank you." He said gently in response, it was rude not to say it after all.

Yukiko offered a small smile in response whereas Kaito, despite glowering on the inside, remained perfectly expressionless on the outside. He could already see where this was going. One way or another the Tora was going to have to buy his sister something, whether it be pictures or chocolate. Kaito really had no obligation to, but a small (very, very small) part of his insides told him it was the proper, brotherly thing to do. Blah. He really wasn't liking this family stuff all that much.
Completely oblivious to her brother's thinking, Yukiko continued to examine the photographs.
"Do you take all of these around the city?" She asked the Tora kindly, trying to keep the conversation going. "Or do you travel a lot?"

Ayumu stood quietly as Yukiko and Kyou were talking about his pictures. She glanced over at Kaito, and wondered if it'd hurt to try talking to him or not.
"You look kind of bored." she commented to him. Okay, not really the best way to try starting a conversation, but she figured she'd might as well try while her brother was talking to the Ookami. "Not a fan of photography?"
