Foster walked to behind a tombstone, and pulled out his bag of supplies. Opening it up he pulled out three cups shaped like hats, and a small red ball. "We're going to play my version of magical hats." he said setting things up on a tombstones. "Whenever your ready I'll start." he said.

Dark's grin widened, and he rolled forward, vaulting off of the tombstone and landing right in front of the one Foster had set up on.
"Mix away, Maestro," he encouraged, ready to follow the hat-shaped cups with his bulging eyes. He wasn't at all sure how this game would test his trustworthiness, but only time could tell.

As Foster mixed the cup, he purposely showed the cup the red ball was in. He even acted as if he didn't notice, "Alright Dark, name the hat shaped cupped the ball is in."

As soon as Foster began sliding the hats around, Dark had a pretty good idea of how the game really worked. The kid would give him an opportunity to cheat. The question was, did he want the giant to cheat?
Most likely not, thought Dark. The test is to determine trustworthiness. He's trying to mind-fuck me, and it won't work. Rather than look on as Foster finished up the mixing, Dark closed his eyes, thereby losing track of where the ball was at all. When the sound of cups sliding stopped, he opened his bulging eyes and placed his finger on the left cup.
"How about this one?" asked Dark as his right eye drifted off to the side.
