Deiree looked around where she was standing, pretty close to City Hall. "Hmm..." she muttered to herself. This place should do.
She found a good spot, not too crowded, but still had a decent amount of people around to notice her. She sat down, cursing to herself silently for not bringing her guitar. Oh well, that didn't matter now.
She took her bag and pulled out a few thick books and drums sticks. Desiree couldn't afford a real drum set just yet, but when she got the money for it, she won't hesitate to get one.
With that in mind, she started hitting the various books around her, making them sound pretty similar to a certain song she had heard a while back. She started singing along after a moment.
"Where are the people that accuse me? The ones that beat me down and bruise me?" she continued to sing, watching the people around her drop some change, and occasionally a dollar or two, into the bag she purposely set in front of her make-shift drums.

Yukiko, gutair strung across her back as always, was going through the daily motions of wandering all over Hatsu Itonami without a care in the world. Well, techincally that last part was a lie, considering the green-eyed Ookami always had something on her mind. Once again her stress was caused by her father, whom had posessed the gaul to send her yet another letter after she'd torn the first one up and thrown it into the ocean. However, she hadn't quite done the same with this one yet. Instead it lay in her pocket, unopened and burning as if it were made of hot iron and not paper.
The brown-haired teen paused at the sound of singing, accompanied by varied semi-drum-like noises. As was habit, Yukiko navigated towards the sound. She'd found that, with music there usually came a friendly face. But instead of someone she recognized, the Ookami was met by a completely new face. Yukiko lingered, watching for a bit before adding a few dollars to the bag in front of her 'drums'.

Chika was sitting atop a slanted stone slope leading up to the main building of City Hall, AKA, The City Hall. One of her sticks spinning in right hand as she hummed along to her iPod. The Middle by Jimmy Eat World. Ancient, but still her all-time favorite. She began singing the lyrics, and while she didn't have the best voice it was better than a few of the tone-deaf songs she had heard at the HQ. It was halfway through the second chorus when the music suddenly stopped.
The redhead's eyes snapped open, sitting straight up as if she had been poked with a cattle prod. Her hand shot into her pocket and dug out the small white rectangle. The screen was black. She pressed power. Still nothing.
The Tora let out a groan as she realized that the tiny device was out of battery. After a moment of silent grief Chika sighed and stowed it back where it belonged, she hopped off of the step-top and dropped the six feet to the ground. She stumbled and managed to regain her balance. Her stick resumed its spinning.
Only then did the redhead notice the sound of singing somewhere nearby. She glanced around, finally spotting a girl (woman, her mind corrected) perhaps a bit older than herself. Still spinning the drumstick, Chika made her way over and dropped a five into the bag, silently berating herself a moment later for not buying lunch first.

Xion had been silently watching from across the way.She had been sitting on one of the many benches. She was currently pondering on wither or not she should steal the money that girl was collecting. She was a busker but she highly doubted she needed the money. She currently was adopting the ZERO attitude.
Take what you can and run.
She waited and walked past before shouting"OH MY GOSH" most people turned around as she slipped the money into her pocket and placed the hat on her head and walked away.

Desiree nodded to the two girls that dropped money into her bag, still playing. She was just about to finish the song before hearing someone yell out. The brunette turned around to see what had happened, but turned back just in time to see someone snatching her hard earn money!
"Hey!" she yelled, jumping up and running after the girl. She was NOT gonna let her get away with that!

Chika had spent a few years in the den of a thief, and she knew what to watch out for. A simple 'hey, look over there!' tactic was not going to fly with the street-wise redhead. Especially not after she had spent a few months wandering the areas outside the city. Instead of turning away to look for what the scream was ABOUT, she turned to the source, lunging after the girl and pulling out her second drumstick. She had gotten pretty good at using them for weapons nowadays, and a good whack upside the head would set the hat-wearing stranger straight.
The Tora aimed a tackle for the ravenette. Managing to snag her around the middle to pull her to the ground the Tora let out a growl. "Give back that money!" It was low, a growl not intended for anyone else to hear. She wasn't sure if it would only be the girl she had tackled that heard it, however.

Sadly, Yukiko recognized the ravenette the moment she saw her. It was a clash of morals, do the right thing or help out a friend. Or even more daunting, help a friend or help a fellow musician.
"Aw Xi," she sighed as the mystery redhead tackled the would-be thief to the ground. However, Xion was (obviously) continuing to struggle. With another sigh, Yukiko lightly whacked her gutair case against the fellow Ookami's head. It wasn't enough to hurt her, just enough to get her attention. "Just return the money like a good girl, and we can all forget this ever happened.

"I didn't take jack" she growled, trying to reach for her belt.Fucking scythe was to far out of reach "Would you like to get off me before I sue for harrasment" They would vouch for her and the red head would end up in prison.ZERO and the government both had mutual hate for eachother ... they also had enough information on each other to get them crumbling to the ground. They grudging helped each other. She was getting annoyed now.The case f her own instrument was digging into her back. The scythe was so close ...

Desiree stopped her running after the thief when the red head tackled her. She looked back at forth between them, seeing another girl come up and started talking to the ravenette, they obviously knew each other.
Hearing the thief deny stealing her money only pissed her off even more. "I saw you steal it, dammit." she growled. "Now quit with the bull shit and give it back."

"I saw you too, so give it up already." Honestly, this girl's technique was sloppy at best. "Seriously, you didn't even check to see if you had been seen. Very bad form." Chika seemed less like an interrogator with this comment, and more like a disappointed teacher.
"Blondie or Ms. Drummer, can you get my second belt," She shrugged a shoulder to show where the loose belt was. "and help me out here?" Chika had only tackled and pinned her with the help of surprise, now she was struggling to keep the girl (Xi, if the blond wasn't using a nickname) from flipping her over.

Yukiko reached down and grabbed the redhead's extra belt, getting a vague idea of what she needed it for. While it didn't feel quite right assisting in the capture of a friend, Xion had sort of brought this on herself. The green-eyed Ookami sighed in frustration and wrapped the belt around her wrist, binding them together.
"Sorry 'bout this, Xion." She grumbled, more to herself than to her friend.

Xion rolled her eyes "Funny cos I didn't take jack" she said her fingers finally connecting with what she needed. She held the pole up as the blade sliced through the belt but missed Yukiko
"I thought I already said that though so you people are obviously deaf" she said pressing the blade to the red heads back "No get off of me before I run you through"

Yukiko had no idea where Xion had managed to get a scythe, but she did know that it was probably best not to cross her at the given moment. The Ookami paused uncertainly and then took a healthily large step back, wise enough to stay out of Xion's way.
Please don't do something stupid, she silently begged with a mental sigh. Please.

Desiree's brown eyes widen at the sight of the weapon Xion pulled out. Was this chick crazy or something?!
"Just settle down..." she started, trying to take her own advice. Although she hadn't really done anything to get her money back as of yet, she was still rattled up. Just the thought of strangling her sounded so good right about then...
"That money's all i got to live on, so unless you like making people homeless, then stop being a bitch and give the money back to me." she tried sounding as calm and nice as possible, but she wasn't very good at that when she was mad.

Chika, instead of pleading for her life or rolling off of Xi, simply reached behind her to grasp the handle. "You know," She said casually, completely ignoring the advice of those around her. "I bet this position's a LOT more awkward for you than for me..." Her grip tightened as she spoke and she maneuvered one of her sticks around to push against the ravenette's throat, effectively cutting off her air supply. She shifted her position to keep Xi pinned as well.
"Unless you want to suffocate and then be charged for murder around all these witnesses, I suggest you give back the nice woman's money." Her voice was calm and cool while her heart was thudding with adrenaline. She liked that, it kept her closer to her drums, almost like there was one inside her chest. Keeping her sane, keeping her cool, keeping her head sharp and focused. She wanted to die with her drums when she went, and so right now her life and its continuation wasn't really and issue to her.
