A somber gray sky seemed to be prevalent over Hatsu Itonami that Thursday, Aiden expected it to rain soon, and it would be pretty fitting for it to rain when he visited his mother's grave. The air always felt sad around there and the falling droplets would only serve to remind him of that fact.
He stood in front of the headstone, face shadowed by the tall tree nearby. He stood stock still for several minutes, eyes shut and mind strangely calm.

Masaru walked calmly through the graveyard, thinking on philosophy while staring at the soft mercury colored clouds and felt a kind of peace. Although before long that peace turned into boredom as he walked past a tree with a random person sitting against it, paying no attention to him whatsoever.

Aiden's ears practically picked as his hyper-vigilance (damn it to hell) picked up footsteps. He whipped his head over to the sound, spotting a blond (why was he running into so many blonds lately?) Tora walking by. He appeared deep in concentration, about what Aiden couldn't have cared less. Then again if he was one of the religious types, he'd rather that the blond not spread faith where it wasn't wanted.

Masaru completely ignored everything else, and kept walking in a calm straight line. Whenever a headstone came in his way he just stepped on it and kept walking with the same speed.

Aiden bristled at the show of disrespect. Not that he was one to talk, but the dead deserved certain respects. Treading on burial places without even acknowledging what he was doing was ticking Aiden off. "Hey!" He called out, bringing himself to his full height. "Watch where the hell you're going!"

Masaru stopped and turned to look at him with a bored expression on his face. "Why?" is all he said. He wasn't the type to talk much unless it was about something that mattered.

"Even I know common courtesy, you don't just tread all over someone's resting place." He grit his teeth in annoyance. Not even two words from the guy had already gotten him mad.

"They have no more consciousness, I'm sure they aren't being bothered. And even if they did they are too deep underground to give a shit." He said with the same bored. almost monotonous, tone and expression.

"You don't know, you've never died." Aiden replied simply, refusing to go war-machine on the fucker while near his mother's grave. She didn't need to see that, wherever she was.

"I have, it was a peaceful and ignorant blackness. Wasn't too bad." He commented back with very little seriousness but still honestly. "Life in the grand scheme is just a pointless novelty anyway." he said to him.

'Then maybe you won't mind losing yours!' He wanted to yell, barely restraining that urge. A bit of his common sense decided that if he were to get a little ways away from his mother's grave then maybe breaking into a fight wouldn't be so bad. So he began moving forward. "And so you think that impacting those around you is pointless?" He asked dryly, hands moving from his pockets. Anyone who fought with Aiden knew that as a sign that he would start throwing punches if he so desired.

"Life is not a necessity in this universe, or in this dimension. Only a luxury, eventually all life on this planet will be extinguished and it will be all for naught. All we can do is search for truth and logic in this short-lived world, and considering how humans are treating this planet we are shortening both our lives." He said calmly, not caring whether or not he was about to fight with someone. He wouldn't get hurt and his skin wouldn't break, not anymore anyway.

"You especially." The Ookami muttered, succumbing to the wall of red behind his eyes. A giant fist was hurled at the Tora at rapid speeds, much faster than one would expect from the Ookami.

Masaru easily caught the fist in his hand. "Although, when you do live oyu might as well go by instinct and do everything to be as powerful, perfect, and godly as possible." He said with the same expression. His hand not budging a single inch while it clenched the others fist. "Most humans waste their time on trivial things but when you focus on philosophy and making your body perfect it's almost amazing what you can do." Masaru calmly tossed his hand away like it was garbage. "Almost anyway." He finished.

Aiden wasn't easily tossed away though, he whipped a kick at the Tora's side, following it up with a barrage of rapid-fire punches.
