Hotaru entered the DarkBright arena, grinning at the sight. She remembered coming here a few times in the past. Of course, they were always gang- related reasons, but just the sight of something familiar made her feel more comfortable. Good thing this was her territory at the time.
It was late, and there wasn't much going on. The redhead thought she heard something about a baseball game earlier, but it was most likely closing to an end by now.
It didn't stop her from walking near by, though. She had thought about sneaking in to see the last part of the game, but decided that it would be a waste of time watching a game that made no since to her.

Jack slumped down farther in his seat, what was the point in just watching a sport and not playing it? He was bored out of his mind! Not only that, but if he were to rig another hot-dog machine to blow then the food-sellers would undoubtedly notice something was up. So he stood up and walked out of the arena, not caring about the score or the batting average or whatever other stats the announcers were spewing about each athlete.
He leaned against a column and sighed. At least he'd get some sleep tonight, his brother and father were calming down from Jack's various escapades, and it wouldn't be long before sneaking into his room by a door would be possible. Climbing up the tree and through the window was getting tiresome.
He looked up at the sound of footsteps heading his way.

Cross seemed to have one of her random urges to go to the arena. So she walked in and started looking around.
"Baseball." She scoffed. What was the point to that game? She continued walking, her boots hitting the ground evenly, her arms crossed over her chest in an annoyed gesture. She hadn't had the best night in the world and it was definitely starting to get on her nerves. Helga was the source of her problems... as usual. But today she ignored that nagging feeling that Helga was around the corner and just continued walking.
Then, slumped against a column was someone she recognized. She grinned. "Yo Jackie! How's it going!?" She yelled drawing the attention of several people. She didn't care. She found someone she knew, someone fun to hang around with actually.

Jack looked up from his feet and left his ponderings over the likelihood of one of the concession stand workers being completely oblivious at the back of his head. He gave a wave and a grin, bounding over to meet up with the Kuma.
"Heya Cross! Whatcha doing here?" He asked, glad to see a familiar face. "To be honest, you don't really strike me as the baseball loving type." He was tempted to poke around for Helga, since the bulldozer of a maid didn't seem like the type to give up the chase. It had been a little while since the two were at the Manor, but the paranoia lingered.

Cross chuckled. "Actually I'm escaping Helga..." She shuddered. "I wasn't too smart last night and actually went back to the manor and stayed the night... she wasn't in the best of moods..." Cross muttered shuddering again. "That thing freaks me out..." She said shaking her head.
"So why are you here?" Just then she heard someone's familiar voice causing her to smile.

Hotaru continued walking, deciding if she should just go home now or not. This place was starting to bring back a few memories the Tora wanted to forget. Her desision was made clear when she noticed two familiar faces.
"Cross! Jack!" she called, beaming as she started running towards the two. Wow, on a night like this, the redhead didn't think she'd find these two of all people at once.

The Ookami nodded in sympathy before something else caught his attention. Jack turned at saw the red head of Hotaru running their way. "Phoenix!" He waved, a wide smile on his face, just barely just preventing himself from calling out her real name. Dang, that was getting more and more difficult to do.
"Fancy meeting you here!" He said, giving her a swift hug as she caught up.

Cross chuckled. "Awe, who would have known I get to see the both of you together!?" she clasped her hands together happily with a grin. "The darling couple!" She exclaimed laughing.

Hotaru caught up quickly and returned Jack's hug before looking at Cross. "Shut it." she laughed, playfully pushing the Kuma slightly. "Well, this is a nice surprise, I was just about to go home." she told them, grinning. "Anyway, what are you two doing here?"

Jack stuck out his tongue at Cross before answering Hotaru's question. "I was watching the game," He rolled his eyes. "One of the worst ideas I've ever had, and I decided to leave and ran into Cross here." He turned to Cross, waiting for her to answer her half of the inquiry.

Cross laughed. "Oh me? I just had a random urge to come here... and I was escaping Helga..." She shuddered and shrugged with a large smile. Then she thought of something.
With a mischievous grin, she pulled out a small camera from her pocket. "Pose, or so help me, I'll get the worst picture in the world" She said holding the camera up. "Jackie, wrap your arm around her, look like the couple you are!"

Jack blinked as the camera was pulled out. Where had that come from? The pockets were too small to hold a camera of any kind... Still befuddled he sighed and pulled Hotaru close, placing a kiss to her temple.

Hotaru's smile grew when he kissed her. Trying to ignore the small blush that was rising up on her face, she looked at Cross. "You're seriously taking a picture...?" she asked, not really knowing what to think about it.

Cross grinned and zoomed in slightly on the couple. The camera made a few little click noises, saying it took at least 5 pictures. She grinned wickedly. "I have it set on multi-shot." Then she pulled out the SD card and slid it in her phone, downloading them to it. It made a ding and then she sent them to her email and took out the SD card, putting it back in the camera. "Technology, dontcha just love it?" She asked smiling. "There's no use going for the camera, I already sent the pics to my email." She put the small camera back in her pocket and smiled, waiting on any bizarre response that was expected to come.

Jack stepped towards Cross and grinned menacingly. "So if those get out I know exactly who to blame." Jack could be downright vicious if ticked, and if those pictures got to the wrong people, he'd make Cross's life a living hell. Though he personally wouldn't mind having one of the shots...
