Keisko watched the girl from the side. "How did you get into this stuff again?" She asked.

Madoka shrugged. "I'm pretty sure someone slipped some in my bottle when I was a baby." she then nodded. "Yep, that's it, alright!"

Keisko laughed and shook her head. "Who in their right mind would put Dr.Pepper in a baby's bottle!?" She asked thinking.
Her eyes widened as she remembered something. "Oh crap... oops..." She muttered remembering back when this hyperactive girl sitting beside her was just a baby. Keisko was little too...
Keisko glanced around the room and saw that it was only her and baby 'Doka. She smiled and took the Dr.Pepper filled bottle to the baby, giving it to her. Keisko smiled as she stopped crying and started drinking it.
"Well that's one mystery solved..." She muttered looking down.

Madoka's head tilted upon hearing Keisko. "Hm?" she asked. "What mystery solved?"
It took a while, but Madoka was able to go back to one of her earliest memories. Probably her earliest memory altogether, but it involved Dr. Pepper, what else was she supposed to remember?
"IT WAS YOUR FAULT!!" she exclaimed, jabbing a finger in Keisko's direction.

Keisko flinched at the accusation. "I was only 5!" she said holding her hands up innocently.
"Hey quiet down up there! We're trying to watch a movie!" Some random guy at the bottom yelled.
Keisko smiled slightly at Madoka. "I didn't know better... honest..." She said with a weary grin.

Madoka nodded her head slowly. "Uh-huh, you're still responsible." she told her, grinning. "You have no right to complain from now on."

Madoka laughed. "Let this be a lesson to ya." she told her. "Never give a baby highly caffeinated drinks unless you're ready for the result."

Keisko sighed. "I was only 5..." She muttered again. "I had no clue it could end up THIS bad..." She frowned and grabbed the Dr.Pepper and tried to take a drink but it was empty. "Come on 'Doka... lets go get some more..." she said quietly, standing up and throwing her bag on her shoulders.

Madoka jumped out of her seat merrily. "Kay!" she said, a little too loud. She heard a few people 'Shush' her as she walked pass, but she didn't pay much attention. She was too focused on the thought of more Dr. Pepper.

Keisko shook her head and followed the girl out of the theatre. She led the brunette to the concession stand and ordered two Dr.Peppers. "Happy you little addict?" she asked the young girl.

Madoka grinned. "Yes, Mom." she joked as they waited for their drinks.
A thought struck her suddenly as she said the word 'Mom'. "Hey... Keis', I haven't seen Mommy Rioka in a while." Ten years to be exact. What had happen to her? "Is she alright...?"
Growing up without her birth mother, Madoka always considered Keisko's mother as her mom, always calling her 'Mommy Rioka' without fail. She had often wondered what happened with her, but the thought never came to her when Keisko was around for her to ask.

Keisko's eyes darkened and she looked down at the ground, biting her lip. Tears automatically sprang to her eyes but she blinked them back. She took a deep breathe, paid for the drinks and handed one to Madoka, then started walking back to the theatre slowly.
Her lip trembled as she tried to talk. "Well... you know I left right?" she asked rhetorically. "I left because..." A few tears brimmed over and she wiped them away. "Momma disappeared..." she whispered barely able to say the words. She missed her mom more than anything... It always got her to cry just thinking about it.

Madoka's Dr. Pepper nearly slipped out of her grip when Keisko spoke. She felt tears of her own begin to slip. She ended up hugging Keisko the way she had hugged the brunette earlier when she heard the news about her father.
"That's..." Madoka began. "That's not fair." It truly wasn't. The two of them had each grown up without one of their parents, and depended on the others' mother or father to fill that whole. But now, neither of them had that. The smaller Ookami found herself growling, much to her surprise. Madoka had never growled so harshly in her life.
"Parents are a waste of time." she finally murmured to herself. No depression or rage could be hear in her voice. It was the first time in her life Madoka had sounded so emotionless, like a robot. The feeling would soon fade, but for the moment, she couldn't feel anything as she kept hugging her friend.

Keisko laughed through the silent tears at the growling and her comment. "Yes 'Doka.. they are..." She said smiling slightly at the young girl. She kept an arm around the girl's shoulder's and continued walking. "It's just you and me now kiddo..." She said with a smile.
"Too bad you couldn't come with me as I traveled..." She said smiling as she thought of all the cool places she got to see but deep down she knew that if Madoka had been with her, she'd be just as despondant as Keisko was. Keisko did have some cool times travelling but most of the time she was scrounging for food and a warm place to sleep.
Keisko kept smiling warmly as they walked back to their seats in the top of the theatre.
