(OOC: Anything that may seem like it's referring to Hilda being a robot is a metaphor! =D )
Young Miss Holloway had always felt rather... incomplete ever since her tragic... accident that left her without a family. Having no friends and no family, her only choice in life was to be forced into whatever clan felt like accepting her.
She spent most of her days in the Kuma clan picking flowers and leaving them on her parents grave, as she was currently doing with a certain group of pretty red roses she managed to scavenge. The sharp thorns didn't seem to bother her... for some reason.
Hilda sighed as she laid out in front of the Holloway family mass grave, watching the clouds go buy and being as close to her family as she could.

Steve had been wandering around town checking out all of the territories. He first started with his own sector, the Tora sector. Then he moved to the Kuma sector and then whatever the Ookami had controlled. Steve figured he may as well know everything about the city before attacking anything. Fortunetly this was his last stop, the cemetery. He didn't expect to find anybody here.
Steve had taken great caution inside Ookami and Kuma territory, though, here he was completely aware. He knew it was a Kuma territory but Steve was more relaxed at the thought that nobody would be here, or so he thought. As he walked in, not looking around to acctually see if anyone was there, he stopped a few feet inside the 'boundries' of the Cemetery.
There isn't much here really. I doubt i'll ever come back here for any dueling purposes. And that's all that matters now. Getting to the top of the city and controlling it. Along with Tora of course. Steve still had not moved, not looking at any particular thing, but he felt an air of uneasiness. Though, he didn't think much of it. Steve started walking and looked behind him for a few seconds, not that he was scared, he just wanted to see if he had missed anything. As he was looking backwards he did not see the tomb stone in front of him. He hit his knee right off it. "OW" he screamed, a little louder then expected but it was probably because of the startle it gave him.

(OOC: The Cemetary's not neutral. It belongs to the Kuma. ) Hilda saw the little clouds take shape, first a bunny, then a flower, then nothing in particular. She spent a good amount of her days just lying on the grass and watching clouds roll on, trying to stay as oblivious and as unaware about the terrors of war as she could, for as long as possible. There were rumours flying about that the other clans were planning invasions, and that the war was about to heat up again, after quite a length of time in a bit of an unorganized ceasefire. As she laid there, trying to count the birds as they passed by, and slowly beginning to nod off, a noise suddenly brought her out of it. "Huh!? What!?" She sat up quickly, looking around before spotting a rather laid back and non too imposing teenage boy, about her age. Her dark blue eyes blinked as she looked the gentleman over. "Uhm... hello?" she began, a notable tone of nervousness in her voice.

(OOC: Oops! Fixed it! (x ) I turned around when I heard a voice and jumped at the same time causing me to fall. I then looked up embaressed, it was a girl about his age. I hadn't got a good view of her yet though; she looked startled. Well, so much for the tough guy act. That wouldn't really work out after what just happened. But where did she come from and why is she here? I didn't think anyone would be here. I stood up favouring my left knee, the one that had hit the tombstone. "Uhm, hello! And you are?" I wanted to seem pretty chill, and looke not scared at all when the truth was she scared me out of the Cemetery, I was just about to bolt it out of there. Great first impression Steve.

(OOC: First person narrative after using third person limited? ) She looked at the boy for a second. "Holloway." she began. She leaned back, once again lying on the grass. Her gloved right hand pointed to the name on the gravestone. "First name's Hilda." She didn't bother to sit up again, as the young teenager didn't seem to be particularly imposing or mean. She felt as soon as the conversation was over she'd probably go back to cloud watching. "You?"

(OOC: Yeah, I realized that while writing it was too damn lazy to change it It's late here xD ) She seems like she wants to be alone. Naturally, I would leave her alone but she seems like she needs a freind. Here it goes As awkward as it felt I sat down beside her. Not laying back like her though. Just with my hands around my knees. "Steve, Steve Nightbringer." I said with confidence. Ha, 'Nightbringer' pretty suiting for a cemetery eh Steve? Wow, I talk to myself alot eh? And I say eh alot eh? Maybe I should talk to her instead of myself. I shook my head and then turned back to her. I had wondered if she was staring at me from when I was thinking to myself. "So, what are you doing out here by yourself? Are you a duelist?" I was trying to make small talk, also, being a duelist myself, if she was one it would give us something to talk about, or even duel about. There was nothing like a nice fun battle to get to know someone. I tried to look calm when this whole situation was a little awkward, right from the beggining it was.

Hilda continued mostly looking at the clouds, paying the young gentleman very little mind. "Spending time with my family." she spoke nonchalantly, as though what she had just said wasn't pretty darn creepy.
She only heard the last word he spoke. "Duelist? By name only." she pointed to a nearby duel disk, not really paying attention as she felt cloud watching was much more important then carrying out a conversation.
In her mind, other people in the clans were just savages, working to fight each other for no reason, and she wanted no part of it.

I opened my mouth to say something but then I decided otherwise. If she was spending time with her family in a cemetery, it could only mean one thing, he parents had passed away. Most people are delicate to tough that subject. So, we'll leave it for now. Although, eventually I bet talking about it would be the most solution. I still sat there hands wrapped around my knees, with her paying little attention to me. How could I get her attention?
I wanted to ask her to duel, but she didn't seem to intent on it after the way she said "Duelist? By name only." That was odd I thought, why by name only? Did she not like being a duelist? I decided to ask her. It felt odd to me for one not to like dueling. Yes, people could not like it because of the raging war but it was fun. Whether you were dueling for fun of for territory. "So, why duelist by name? Do you not like to duel? Personally I think it's tons of fun. I understand if it's the war that has made you think like this but can't you think of the old times? When people dueled for fun?" I let the last few words hang in the air waiting for a response. That's how it used to be, dueling for fun. Putting together the first deck and dueling with it, win or loss you felt great about being able to put together 40 cards.

The young lady scratched her head. "People dueled for fun?" in her short 15 years of life, she had never seen a duel that was due to either conquest or an argument. "That's a laugh." though she didn't laugh.
"I just... don't see much reason to duel. I'd rather sit here and pick flowers."

Never seen dueling for fun? How? Well, maybe it was just how I was raised. Or maybe she just refuses to remember the good times and is stuck in the past. "Well, I used to do it all the time. Maybe you should try it? How can picking flowers and feeling sorry for yourself be that much more fun? Whether you want to duel me or someone else, that's up to you." Once again letting the challenge hang in the air. I wanted to duel her, acctually, I wanted to duel anyone. Though, he was ok with her trying to duel someone else.
It feels good to help people, espescially people like her. Sad, desperate not seeing the good side of things. Even in this war there are good things that can emerge from it. She just needs to open her eyes. And that's what i'll try to make her do! My mind was set and not many things usually stopped me, it seemed like a tough challenge though, and one that wouldn't happen with one duel.

She wondered why the boy had decided to continue speaking to her. Most people left her alone after very long, but he kept attempting to duel her.
"How can you consider dueling to be fun?" she replied. Still lying on the ground, she bent her left knee and attempted to rest her right leg on the aforementioned knee.
"These petty war games that the clans continue to pursue, duels just being miniature training lessons for carrying out heinous atrocities to the other side. If it's between that or picking flowers, I choose flowers every day." Hilda continued trying to define shapes in the clouds.

Atleast she seems semi-interested. Or atleast that's how I feel. Maybe she just needs the facts and thats what i'll give her. "It's true, the clans use them to destroy eachother. But what about dueling for the sake of fun? As in, to see who would win. We wouldn't win any certain thing, just to have a good time. See, it's just like playing a sport. If you play competitively than you are going to use all your might to win. But when your just playing pick-up with a freind, it's all fun and games." I smiled after saying all this to make it seem more warm and fuzzy. Even I was impressed with it, she must have been too, right? Right?
Truth is I'm sure, this girl seems pretty hooked on her own ways, but wasting life doing nothing is a shame, well in my eyes it is. I think you should always try to have fun no matter what your doing. And sure, if looking at clouds was fun then be my guest, but this girl, Hilda, seemed sad.

She gave him a pleasant look, before going back to the clouds. She stayed silent for a rather long time. She seemed perfectly fine with not speaking to him, but at last she decided to give him the benefit of the doubt, after all he had come all this way and still stuck around.
Without even looking his way or without even blinking, she spoke. "If you wanna sit their playing psychotherapist be my guest but trust me, my problems aren't the kind that can be white washed way with a five minute conversation and a quick duel."

"Hey, i'm sure they can't but sitting here and doing nothing isn't going to help either. All your going to do is waist your life. Think of someone special to you, do you think they would like you to continue with life? And not give-up? That is the ultimate question, maybe you don't do it for yourself but I'm sure someone it's hurting someone else to see you like this." On that note I got up and started to walk away. If she felt like sitting there being sad, fine, I wasn't waisting my life. I have duels to win and people to meet.

Someone special? That would be anyone from her family. She closed her eyes and invisioned what they'd want for her.
"They would not think I was giving up. They would want me to do whatever I wanted. And what I want to do is not fight for my clan."
Hilda very rarely ever dueled, only when she felt her way of life and the things she enjoyed would be threatened. She took one last look at the boy before calling out to him. "Good bye."
