He just laughed, winking. "Sister germs don't beat up Kuma Boyfriends for messing around with their little sister. Brother germs do. Make sure I never meet him okay?" He just laughed at her interrogation, wincing. "Well...she's in Tora. Her name is Caitlyn. And she's a little younger than me..." He blushed. A little younger here meant three years, making her sixteen. Much younger than him. "Sure, I'll have you meet her sometime. We can all go out to eat." He smiled again, patting his sister on the head. Kairi had to laugh at the image her mind brought up with his Brothwr Germs beating up Dante. It was a rather funny image, and it caused her to giggle. "Well, my Sister Germs will are nicer than your Brother Germs!"
She glanced up when her Brother blushed and smiled, kissing his cheek affectionately. "It's cute when Brother blushes, but you shouldn't worry about it. I'll protect Caitlyn if worse comes to worse, with the Clans and all. And you too, of course."
She perked up and looked him excitedly. "Really? We can all go out to eat sometime? Will she mind? I mean, she doesn't know me. And I don't want to intrude on your dates or anything."

He just smiled and hugged her tight, kissing her cheek as well. "I'm sure she'll love you sis. She's a great person. She reminds me of you kind of, but a lot less clumsy. He laughed and stood up, kicking the soccer ball back and forth. "Well, if we're done showing off, how about an actual game? With shorter goal-lines of course." He grinned, winking with a laugh. Kairi had smiled rather fondly at her Brother when he kissed her cheek. "I hope so. I like her already. She seems to make you happy, and that makes me happy too."
She glared at him, though, when she caught the last part. "So what if I'm clumsy? You trying to make something out of it?"
She stood up and rolled her eyes, smiling. "Yeah yeah, I'm coming. But I can't really remember how to play Soccer."
She sighed, still smiling, and then she grinned, rushing forward as quickly as she could, stumbling slightly, and kicking the ball from her Brother, chasing after it, knowing he would be right on her heels. She had never felt this happy in a really long time.
She didn't know how she knew that, but she knew, and she knew that as long as she had her friends and Brother, she would always be happy. And she would do anything to protect that happiness.
so wrapped up in her thoughts, she didn't notice how far out into the Soccer field she was heading, until she stumbled over the ball entirely, landing sprawled out on the ground, out of breath, a smile of contentment on her face.

He watched her run, then began walking, chuckling. It was only a matter of time until she-...yep. She fell...forward, surprisingly, and he continued walking. About about a minute, he finally made it to her and helped her up, then ran over to the ball and began kicking it in his goal's direction, sticking his tongue out at her. He went slow, enough so that she'd be able to catch up to her quickly, just keeping the ball back and forth between his feet. He smiled back at her, then turned to face her, still keeping it in-between his heels. [/blockquote]

Kairi blinked, before, laughing, she took off in his direction. "Hey, you took off with my Slifer ball! I want that back!"
She watched as he stopped, and, winking, she dived onto the ground, sliding and kicking the ball from between his heels. She slid under him herself, tripping him by lashing out with her foot. Standing, not caring she was covered in grass stains, she stuck her tongue out and started making her way to the goal opposite his.
She was laughing again, not being able to smother it. But it felt good, and she knew that if she let a moment of weakness show, he would get the ball back, and -
She had run into something, causing her to fall backwards. She wasn't sure if it was a person, or a wall (felt more like a wall), and she rubbed her aching nose. "Ouch......Brother, where are you?"
She was really dizzy, considering what she had hit felt like a ton bricks, and she couldn't open her eyes just yet. So, she had settled for asking him where he was. He would answer. She knew he would.

He laughed as she stole it and followed her, then blinked as she ran straight into a wall. Worried, he ran over to her and helped her up gently, stroking her cheek. "Hey, you okay?" He blinked and sat down, putting her head into his lap, stroking her hair. He sighed, rolling his eyes. Like she needed to hurt herself even more...watching over her was like a full-time job, not that he minded. "You need to be more careful, honey." [/blockquote]

She didn't respond at first, but eventually made a reply. "Uh, yeah, fine. I've seen worse."
As soon as her head hit his lap, she curled up, and then opened her hazy eyes, moaning at the intensity of the light. "Argh! It burns, it burns, I tell you!"
She vaguely wondered if she felt him chuckle, she couldn't be too sure, things were still spinning slightly.
She heard his comment, but it took her a minute to respond. "I try to be careful, and that results in me getting more hurt. Maybe I should become an adventurous daredevil......"

He just chuckled at her dramatics, then gave a sigh. "I'm not sure that you could survive applying for the job, m'dear. I think we should call off the soccer game for a bit, hm?" He just chuckled and sat there, stroking her hair and looking up at the sky. It was starting to get late anyway, the sun already beginning to set. [/blockquote]

She nodded, and reached for the discarded soccer ball with one hand, pulling it over and fiddling with it, running her fingers over the Slifer drawing.
She smiled, and vaguely wondered about something. As she fingered the intricate Slifer on the soccer ball, she asked her Brother, "What do you think about the drawing? Is it good?"
Gently, she sat up, careful not to move her head too quickly and sat, cross legged, staring at the setting sun. "Ne, Nii-sama......" She waited a few moments, to let the tranquility seep in. "Which do you think is more lonely, the sun or the moon?"
She didn't need to look at him to know he was questioning her. She didn't know why she'd asked the question, but she had felt a need to do so, and so she had.

He smiled and let her sit up, laughing. "It's a great drawing. You did a good job." He blinked at her question, then watched the sun set, giving a small hum of thought. "Well, normally I'd say the sun, because the moon has all the stars...but the stars are still there during the daytime, you just can't see them. The sun has all the planets too..." He looked over at his sister, smiling. "So I really can't decide. Maybe they're both lonely, or they're both..not lonely." He finished the awkward sentence, blinking. [/blockquote]

Kairi smiled widely. "Thank you, Brother. I love Slifer. He's such a great God. I know, he was always my favorite."
Kairi's smile softened. "Well, the sun has the clouds, the moon has the stars, and both have the sky. But even though the sun and moon are surrounded by friends, the brotherly sun misses the sisterly moon. So no matter how surrounded they are, they will always be lonely."
Blinking, she turned to her Brother, blushed, and laughed nervously. "Don't even ask where that came from, I have no idea."
Looking back at the now set sun, and the falling darkness, Kairi closed her eyes. "You can leave if you want. It is evening. I can clean up here." She opened her eys and giggled. "Truthfully, I want you to stay. I like talking to my Brother. Who knows how many chances we'll get."

He listened to her talk about the sun and moon, then smiled and wrapped his arms around her, winking. "Don't worry sis. I'll never disappear. We'll see each other all the time." He just chuckled. "Kind of hard not to when we're in the same clan." He just smiled and leaned back against the grass, yawning. "No, it's fine. I like it better here at night. It seems more...peaceful." He just smiled, staring up at the stars that were just getting ready to show themselves fully. [/blockquote]

Kairi giggled and snuggled into him. "Yeah, you'd have to be blind to miss me, and deaf to all the noise I bring with me."
Kairi pouted playfully. "I can never make a nice entrance, or say hi to someone normally, nooooo. I have to make a fool of myself."
She turned to him with a half serious, half playful smile. "You'd better not disappear on me. I would cry."
Kairi nodded, turning back to the sky. "Yeah. I always like the night. It's much more peaceful, and contemplative." Suddenly, she clapped her hands, and pointed to the sky. "Look! The North Star!"
Kairi looked back at him with a wink. "Make a wish Brother. You know the rules."
Turning back to the Star, Kairi clasped her hands together, closed her eyes, and wished, with all her might. Please, little star, protect my friends and family, and keep them safe.
Smiling, she opened her eyes and leaned into her Brother, grabbing his hat, and placing it on her own head.

He smiled and patted her head, then blinked as she pointed up. He contemplated for a second, then smiled and nodded, making a silent wish to himself. He grinned as she grabbed his hat and put it on her head, then ran his fingers through his hair, sighing to himself. He leaned back against the grass again, yawning slightly. The night was always his favorite time, it meant less people, in some places at least. Jubei hated mass crowds of people..they made him unnecessarily nervous. [/blockquote]
