Yukiko hadn't been to the amusement park in quite some time. She decided to take it upon herself to make her way there, reasoning that she could find some quiet there. After all, there was really nowhere to practice her music, and even if there were people at the park, the place was huge. Solitude wouldn't been to difficult to happen upon.
So here Yukiko was, walking between rides that had long stopped working. The silence wasn't unsettling at all to Yukiko, but that was probably because she cherished independent moments. To some, she supposed, it could have been a bit unsettling.
Every so often Yukiko would pause, looking up at the sky and feeling the stiff and secure feel of the worn leather guitar case firm against her back. In the end she never really settled down to strum a few chords; she just kept walking, lost within her thoughts and memories....

A raven haired girl parked her cherished moterbike and threw the helmet on the floor, smashing the visor. She swore under her breath sliding to the floor, kicking the dirt 'Why did ya leave Dad?Leave me with that monster. Why did things get so bad?'She pulle out the green can of spary paint and chucked it at the dogems and softly started to cry 'I know you alive' she thought as she pulled out black rose dragon 'but is this all I get now just a card on my birthday' she wipped away the tears from her eyes.Softly in the background of her thoughts she heard music. The gentle strumming of a guitar. It was beautiful. She wished she could have been artistic but she got to her feet.Locking her bike up she looked round the corner and saw a brown haired girl. Not wanting to disturbe her she hid behind the corner watching.

Yukiko strummed her guitar to a steady, mellow pace, tapping her foot quietly with the beat. Her eyes were downcast, lids drooped so low that she almost seemed to be sleeping. A stirring melody drifted from her lips, edged with the memories this song always brought.
"It's been a long, hard road without you by my side / Why weren't you there all the nights that we cried? / You broke my mother's heart, you broke your children for life / It's not OK, but we're alright..."
Soft, fleeting thoughts of her father slipped in and out of Yukiko's mind, the father she barely knew, but also the one she loved dearly. She didn't cry over it anymore, but there would always be that dull aching pain, that longing for what she never knew. That's why she sang... it brought back whatever memories she did have.

She continued to listen to the beautiful singing "It's been a long, hard road without you by my side / Why weren't you there all the nights that we cried? / You broke my mother's heart, you broke your children for life / It's not OK, but we're alright..." she heard the girl sing and... she got it.She understood how she felt. The lyrics touched her soul.I'm not alone. She poked her head out to get a bettter look at the girl.

Yukiko, completely unaware that she was being watched, continued her singing. The music washed over her and brought her into a gentle and delicate daze; one where there was only her a her guitar, nothing else.
"I remember those days you were a hero in my eyes, / but those are just the long lost memories of mine / I spent so many years learning how to survive / Now I'm writing just to let you know / I'm still alive..."
Suddenly, Yukiko paused. She wasn't alone. Her green eyes traveled slowly around, until she thought she could see someone. Yukiko tilted her head to the side and called out.
"Hello? Is someone there?"

"Sorry I didn't mean to disturb you.Your singing was beautiful.I really understood" she smiled "Whats the song called?" walking closer to the girl.

Yukiko smiled. "It's no problem. Thanks." She paused before adding, "The song's called Emotionless. It's by a band called Good Charlotte." She absentmindedly strummed a chord on her guitar before continuing. "I heard it once... and it made me think of my dad." Her distant gaze was interrupted and her head jolted back up. "Sorry, I've come close to ranting again."

Yukiko smiled softly. "It's nice to meet you Mel." She chirped. "I'm Yukiko, Yukiko Oshiro." There was a brief pause before she spoke again. "So apparently we're alike huh? Relating back to the song, I mean..." Her eyes shifted back to her instrument and she strummed another note.

Yukiko had to pause for a moment in order to answer the question correctly. How long had she been playing for? Ever since she could remember she'd been plucking at guitar strings, even if it was only to break them.
"My dad taught me as soon as I could hold one." She said at last. Mentioning her father gave her a funny feeling. His memory didn't hurt like it used to. She had long since accepted his leaving, but mentioning it still felt like some sort of taboo.
Yukiko shook herself free of her thoughts and smiled again. It was then she took notice of Mel's wristband. "So you're in Ookami?"

"Yeah don't go round their much. But gotta go to the barracks since I got kicked out out of my house by my phyco mother" she complained climbing up onto the ticket booth of one of the rides. She sat down swinging her feet over the side. "I wish my dad taught me something that cool before he left" she smiled at the mechanic lessons he gave her. "He taught me how to fix things which was cool"

Yukiko eyes light up slightly with polite interest at Mel's most recent statemnet. "Oh?" She asked kindly. "Like what?"

"Like car parts and household stuff all round when I was 7.Then he left but I didn't stop.Kinda because a hobby of mine.I built the bike and then got bored" she sighed lying back on top of the booth. The booth seamed to refelct her own could tempurature and she liked it here "So whats up?" she asked looking at the sky.

Yukiko's green gaze shifted up towards the cloudless blue expanse as well, and she found herself smiling softly. "It's really blue today isn't it?" She chirped observantly, squinting against the bright sunlight. Suddenly a song popped into her head, and Yukiko quickly found herself strumming the music and humming the words, quickly losing all her cares in the process. It was only after a full minute Yukiko realized what she was doing and paused.
"Sorry about that." She stated apologetically. "I just lose myself sometimes..."
