Gabe nodded at his and Tori's instructions before nudging the little brunette to come with him. He was fine with taking the risk in fighting the Ghost, but there was no way in hell he was letting Tori go in there too. She could help with getting the weapons, but after that he wasn't so sure. It was definitely something to talk to Satoru about.
Karina looked between Ren and Merry. She really didn't want Merry involved, something was going to happen to her she could just tell, but she wanted to help her so bad... Maybe as long as she wasn't on the fighting end she would be okay... The elder of the sisters stood up and turned to Ren. "Watch her like your life depended on it." And there was a huge chance that it would be, there was no telling what she'd do if something happened to her sister.
Kiyoko simply frowned from her spot, thinking on their conversation as to why the Ghost would be after Karina without killing her. "You guys... You don't get it?" She asked, still trying to shake off the guilt and fear that had started up in her since Karina's description of her attacker. "Jun doesn't like losing her possessions, trust me I know. The Ghosts are her personal project, and she wouldn't be happy with a successful one slipping through her fingers like Karina did..." She wasn't going to mention the girl's age when she killed her handler, Satoru had told her and she figured that was something Karina didn't want many people to know about.
It took a moment, but Karina figured out where Kiyo was trying to get at. "No, no I'm NOT going back there!" She couldn't she REFUSED. Hearing from Kiyo about what happened through out the program was scary enough. "He'd have to kill me first."
Kiyo started to look genuinely sad, but it wasn't necessarily for the teen she was speaking to. "He's not going to do that, those aren't his orders." She lowered her head a little. "I've... gotta do something." And with that she turned to leave the room. There was still no guarantee, but if this really was her son then she had to do something. She didn't know what exactly, but she still had to, this was all her fault in the first place.
