Sora had spent a long week getting his sister and Gabriel back together after their semi-breakup and his sister's subsequent descent into soap-opera watching despair. He'd poked, prodded, interrogated, and eventually managed to find Gabe and persuade him and Fei both into talking to each other again. It had worked out (something he had had eyes on to make certain of) and now all the young Tora wanted to do was sleep. Worrying over his elder sister's mental health and well being was exhausting.
The younger Tora had thus done the one thing that all of the Takeda-Fujimoto's were very familiar with seeing when he was stressed or too tired to get right to sleep: he'd constructed a blanket nest in the middle of the room. Pillows, blankets, a couple of stuffed toys that he'd kept out of nostalgia, even some sweaters and sweatshirts made their way into the nest. If it was soft, he grabbed it.
Unfortunately, he hadn't had quite as much material for the proper size of the nest, and he'd wound up stealing some of Parker's blankets and pillows for the arrangement. He didn't think the other teen would mind too much, Parker seemed pretty nice and he was polite. Besides, Sora had made certain to use the extra bits and pieces to make the nest big enough for two, so it wasn't like Parker wouldn't have somewhere to hunker down to sleep that night. Sora was still fine-tuning and arranging the nest, and was so caught up in his 'work' that he didn't notice the door opening.

Parker had been out talking with Angel for most of the day. His cousin had been curious about what the dorms and clans were like and he had done his best to explain, but honestly it was still a little odd for him. Granted, it was his own choice to do this, and he didn't men to sound like he was complaining, but it was just so different from what he was used to as home that it was taking longer than he'd thought to adjust. He was doing better, a lot better, so that was something.
The teen opened the room to his and Sora's room and paused at the sight. There were blankets and pillows everywhere except for the beds, with his roommate right in the middle of it all. "S-Sora?" He asked, not sure what was going on. Nothing bad, clearly. Actually it looked rather comfortable, but still... Odd?

It took the younger of the blond's a moment to register the question as he was sorting out a lopsided portion of the nest, but his head snapped over to the source as soon as it registered. "Hi Parker!" He greeted warmly, albeit with a wobble to his voice that couldn't be mistaken for anything but 'tired.' The elder teen looked like he needed an explanation. "I borrowed your blankets for the nest, I'm sorry but I needed them."
He scooched a little to the side as well, letting Parker see that there was more room. "And I made enough space so you can use it too, so don't worry." The possibility that Parker might have not wanted his blankets used in a nest wasn't really anything that occurred to Sora, he just figured it would be fine. He hoped it was fine, he was doubting his earlier confidence now that Parker was here.

Parker just looked at the nest that took up the room and blinked. "Um, sure. I mean, it's perfectly fine." He said as a smile started to come up on his face. Sora sounded tired, and if this helped him then who was he to say no? Besides, his roommate had even gone through the trouble of making enough space for him as well.
The elder teen made his way through the nest, trying not to mess anything up as he made his way to where Sora was. "Are you okay? You seem ti--" he stopped as he tripped on a wad of blanket and fell on his face. He picked himself up and rubbed his nose. "Tired." He finished with a quiet mumble, face turning red from embarrassment.

Sora jolted and scrambled over as Parker fell. Whatever tiredness he felt momentarily erased by concern and fear. "Are you alright?" He asked, he'd seen what the Ookami had tripped over, and a squirming knot of guilt wormed its way around Sora's gut. He'd caused this, he knew he should have tucked the blankets in more carefully and now Parker had fallen on his face! "I'm so sorry," he added on, reaching to take Parker's hand away from his nose so he could see the damage for himself. Gosh he hoped it wasn't broken...

Parker blinked as Sora moved his hand away to look as his nose. It was a good thing his face had already turned red from embarrassment, if it hadn't it CERTAINLY would have gotten darker right then. "N-no don't apologize!" He stuttered quickly, not sure if moving back from the other blond would be rude or not. "I should have paid more attention to where I stepped, I just wanted to make sure you were alright was all." His nose was a little sore, but it wasn't broken or anything. Though his heart was definitely beating faster than he would have liked, he hoped that stopped soon.

Sora blinked as he inspected Parker's red face. He really did appreciate the concern but he really didn't want Parker getting himself into a fight with the floor on his account. He smiled a little bit despite himself. "Thanks, Park." He said as he shifted his attention to Parker's nose. It didn't look broken, thankfully.
Still, it had been sweet of him to care. "I'm fine, just kind of tired." Very tired. Coaxing Fei out of her blanket burrito and into the light of day might not have been physically draining, but all his worrying over her was finally smashing into him. He pulled his hand back from Parker's own to cover his mouth as he yawned. If Parker was going to be polite then he was going to be polite too. It was only fair, right? "Been a pretty busy week or two..."

Parker got himself together well enough and smiled as Sora yawned. "It's no problem, and if you're tired then you should get some rest," he stopped and looked around at their room. "Which I'm guessing explains why our room is the way it is now." He said as he looked back at the other teen with a quiet laugh. It was adorable, really.

Sora's smile turned sheepish along with it's sleepiness. "I'm too tired to sleep right away," he replied. It was why he was still fiddling with the nest. Given enough to occupy his hands he could get his brain to shut off and he'd just pass out. Mindless tasks that also provided comfortable place to sleep once they were mostly finished were even better. Hence, the nest.
"I make these to relax and get comfy. Usually Fei would make them with me..." Of course, his sister was presently busy with Gabe. Excellent, really, but it left him down one snuggler for the night. Unless Parker wanted to hunker down for now. He probably had homework, though...
Or was it still the weekend? Sora really didn't know. "Wanna help me finish?" He tried anyway.

Parker smiled at the offer and nodded at Sora. "Yeah, that sounds like fun." He took another look over at the nest. "What exactly do you need help with though? I haven't really done this before." He rubbed the back of his neck at that, was this a normal thing most kids did? It was hard to tell, but it did look like fun, comfortable too.

Sora just shrugged. He could give a better crash course when he wasn't so tired, but for now he could give the most vital instruction. "If it looks comfy you're doing it right." He imparted with a smile. "Just, make yourself cozy and comfy, which is kinda different for everyone." For example, he tended to sleep with his ridiculous blue polka-dotted elephant plush as a pillow when he made nests.
He tugged at a blanket on the fringes to undo a lump that was forming in the center, and then tossed it so it fell somewhat neatly back into the nest proper. "S'not really a science."

Parker kept his smile up and nodded. "Alright, sounds easy enough." It actually looked comfortable enough as it was, so it didn't look like he would be doing too much. Still, he moved around and began setting up the blankets, pillows, and sometimes other soft things to a way that felt like they would suit him best. "So, what's kept you so busy to make you this tired? If you don't mind me asking that is, I'm just curious." And he also enjoyed conversation, though with as tired as Sora seemed he wasn't expecting much of one for now. No matter, sleep came first.

"I was fixing my sister's love life," Sora replied. He eyed a lump in the covers and dug underneath the whole of the structure to toss aside a shoe that had gotten caught up in the mess. Parker seemed like the type to not gossip, and besides, he was tired and he was going to be as vague as he could manage. "Stuff happened, personal stuff," he decided to preface. "But the short of it is that she liked a guy and they both mucked it up, and neither of them knew how to fix it or if they should, so I decided to butt in and help."
Sora flopped onto the nest and squirmed to find a comfortable spot. "And I can sleep and relax, cuz she's okay now." That was the important bit to take away, Sora thought. He tugged on one of Parker's sleeves. "Lie down."

Parker laid down near Sora and settled around until he got comfortable. Not hard really, there was a lot to lay on, preparations for the nest certainly hadn't been for nothing. "Well that's good to hear." He said at the end of the younger teen's explanation. That was sweet of Sora to do, helping his sister like that. "I don't blame you for being so worn out, you must really love your sister for getting involved in all of that."

Sora nodded, smiling sleepily. "Thankya," He yawned out. "I do... Fei's great, she deserves to be happy." Sora believed that with all of his heart. She was mostly known for her partying reputation and all that came with it, but Sora knew a lot more about her than that. Fei was the girl that cheered him on at soccer matches and dragged him to watch cheesy soaps with that they both made fun of and made blanket piles with him. She was funny and sweet and had a magnetism about her and he wanted to make sure she was happy, whatever it took. Fei had earned it.
"Do you have siblings, Parker?" He asked, blinking tiredly at his roommate.
