Egil's face took on a pinkish hue with the kiss. Heavier subject or not, nothing seemed to stop Don-Induced blushes. "D' y' w'nna h''r 'bout th'm?" He asked in return. Because, well, Don had just found out they were kinda dead... That seemed to discourage a lot of people from continuing... Though, he'd seen time and time again that Don wasn't most people.

"Of course I do." Don replied. "They're part of you, so why wouldn't I want to?" He loved Egil, and he loved getting to know more about him. If he had the chance to just listen to him talk then he'd take it every time. He smiled a little more and cuddled a little closer to the younger man. "So talk away, nothing's stopin' you."

Egil smiled and touched his forehead to Don's own. "Thank ya," he said quietly before he kissed his- his fiance's nose and then drew back a bit to talk properly, putting extra care into his words. They were important, at least a little more so than usual.
"Mum and Dad," he decided to start off with the heads of the household... though they were the ones he remembered less than his brothers... He wasn't so sure on why that was the case. "They were good parents... A little strict sometimes about school but never harsh, and they made sure we were all okay. They loved each other a lot, and my brothers and I even more... They accepted us." They... They had been really good parents. He missed them and he wished desperately that he could introduce Don to them. "They'd love you, you know." He said.

Don smiled as he listened to Egil talk. It was nice being the listener for once. The last part made him chuckle slightly. "I'm sure I'd love 'em too, they sound great." He really wished he could have met them, but this would be the next best thing he supposed. "And your brothers?"

He pointed to the one giving him a noogie. "Matthias was the oldest of us," he said. "By a year, and he was a really good brother. Taught David and I things and made sure we didn't screw up so bad that he couldn't get us out of the mess. He also teased the hell out of both of us, and when I came out to him he just threw up his hands and," Egil stifled a laugh. "And said that now he had to change all the wordings of his 'when Egil gets a girlfriend' ammo." And honestly it had been the best response he could have asked for from Matthias.
He had never once said 'love you' to his brothers, he'd always been more action than words...

Don laughed at that. "That's cute~" He grinned. Matthias sounded like the kind of guy he'd like to hang out with, anyone with a sense of humor was okay in his book. He'd personally never grown up with any siblings, hell the closest he had was Keith and Julie, and he hadn't even met them until high school. "And the other one? That's David, right?" He asked, pointing to the other boy in the picture. He was really enjoying this, he hoped Egil wouldn't stop talking.

Egil nodded. "David was kind of quiet when he was little," he said. "Barely spoke when he didn't have to. But he did it more when we got older and when he did it was always something you wanted to listen to..." He smiled. "He always knew what to say and always seemed to know what was going on without people telling him. And more than that, he could make words into music and poetry and..." He shook his head. "I don't know how to do him justice, he was witty but even that's not enough..." And boy, quiet though David was, and kind as he was to his elder brothers...
"He was the one that got into the most trouble at school," he said. "No fights or anything, he didn't throw punches even when people threw them at him, but he'd get people mad and get himself into them with arguments. And that's not even counting all the backtalk he gave teachers. He couldn't let anything they said stay without explanation." David had been, in Egil's opinion, the cleverest of them... "He couldn't stand stupid people, he said."

Don grinned at that. "Now that's pretty cool." All around, Egil's whole family sounded great, parents and brothers and everything. It make perfect sense that the blond was the incredible person he was now, he'd had a loving family that cared for and supported him. In a way though, it kind of made him sad. Losing a family like that… Well, he couldn't begin to imagine how that must have felt, how it still felt.
"I wish I could of met them, they all sound amazing." He told him, still looking at the family in the picture. He couldn't help but wonder what meeting them would have been like.
