Blue's grin widened. "Got any idea where they happened?" She did have an vague interest in hauntings now that she had TIME to be interested. Violent deaths lead to ghosts if everything she'd heard was true... Or as true as the unprovable was.

"Somewhere a little deeper in, hell if I know the exact place though." Anya replied easily enough. "My uncle's head of the police department in town, so my cousin and I liked to try listening in on some of what he was working on." She laughed a little. "Got caught every now and then, so finding out every single detail never really happened."

Blue gave a nod and picked up her pace a little more, she already had to walk a little fast to keep up with Anya's longer strides, but now she was actually excited. Murders and bloodshed, sounded like her kinda thing. "Any details they mighta mentioned? Like 'found by the river' or some shit?" Those were usually reported... coulda been important anyway.

Anya was still walking at relatively the same pace as she replied. "Think there actually was something about a river." Again, it had been years since she'd heard anything about it, so what details she did know were a little fuzzy. "So shouldn't be too hard to find, just listen for it." It a quiet area like this it was pretty easy to hear the current of the river if you were looking for it.

Blue perked up. "Great, now we just gotta find-" she cut herself off as they rounded a tree and lo and behold. There was the river. "...Well," she said, laughing out a mouthful of smoke, "that was pretty fuckin' easy."

Anya laughed a little herself as they came across the river, well this worked. "So now what, just follow 'til we feel a disturbance or some shit?" If there was anything in the first place. The taller girl didn't personally believe in ghosts or spirits, but there was one way to find out she guessed.
