Kairi blinked, and then grinned. "I don't know whether to take that you expect me to be strange as a compliment or an insult, so we'll just say it's a compliment."
Kairi couldn't help but make a joke. "Yeah, it's called selfishness." she chuckled, before looking out over the people dancing. "Even the dancing their doing could be considered art in the right point of view. Even if the art style has changed, art hasn't changed at all. It's stayed the same, and once again, we humans are the ones who changed. We changed the way we view art."
She glanced back over at him and shrugged, smiling. "I like art, so, I can be pretty defensive about it."
Kairi's eyes watered. "I'm really beginning to hate this War." She shook her head. "I feel like I'm torn between my life, and the life this War is making me lead, if that makes sense."
she saw him shudder and giggled. "Well, I'd help you clean it up of course. Especially if I made the mess." She blushed. "Which would be most of the time, by accident."
She nodded enthusiastically. "Indeed. Which is explains why you saw me doing what I was in the cemetery. I don't want any of the dead in the cemetery to feel forgotten. Feeling forgotten is the worst feeling in the world."
She perked up, immensely, when another slow song came on, and without waiting for even a sound from Dante, she pulled him with her.
She placed them like they had been before, her arms around his neck, his on her waist, and slowly moved them to and fro. "I love this song!"
She was humming softly with the song, swaying with Dante. She wanted to be selfish for a moment, and biting her lip, she looked up at Dante, blinking a few times.
Do it, or you'll regret it later if you don't. Her subconscious echoed in the back of her mind, giving her all the persuasion she needed.
Taking a deep breath, she leaned up and hesitantly kissed the corner of his mouth, not knowing if she was right or wrong, and not wanting to push him.
