Frankie looked around in the room as he stepped in. "There might be something in here if this is where he had her." There wasn't much, but it was worth a shot at least. He nudged Leanna a little. "Come on, let's look around, unless you don't want to..."

Cross couldn't argue with him on that, though she wasn't sure what they would find, there wasn't much in the room. "Alright." she agreed as she headed to the dresser. She opened the drawers and found clothes, dresses and tops that Hotaru would never wear, most exposed the stomach and back. "Sick pervert." she muttered as she went through the rest of the drawers.

Frankie glanced over at the dresser and the clothes that the Kuma found. He shook his head as he picked up a pair of handcuffs, fuzzy ones at that. He shook his head. "You're tellin' me." He muttered as he tossed it behind him. He looked around the room a little more and sighed. "Don't think we'll get anything else out of this Lele." He told her and he turned to face her.

Cross slammed the drawer shut and nodded. "In that case I'm going to call in the demolition team. They can get rid of everything." she replied heading to the door. She was done with this place. She didn't care that they hadn't explored everything, she knew they wouldn't find anything that would lead them to Archer, he was too good. Had they stayed that day instead of taking off to the hospital, they might have had a chance to get some dirt on him.

Frankie took her hand in his and lead her outside. The couple walked until they were a safe distance from the manor but could still see it. He looked down at Leanna, keeping his voice soft as he spoke to her. "You sure you wanna watch? We can leave if you need to." He just wanted to let her know she had the option, chances that she would take it were slim though. He smiled a little to help assure her that things were fine now, he hated seeing her rattled up like she was.

Cross nodded as she dialed the number for the demo crew that were waiting. They'd be at the Manor in ten minutes. "I had quite a few good memories in that place... but the bad outweighs the good in this case. I'm glad I get to see it go, especially that half." she replied finally. She released Frankie's hand and sat down on the ground then tucked her knees up to her chin, all while staring at the house.

The purple haired Ookami sat beside her as they waited on the demolition crew to come. "Well, after this we can put it all in the past where it belongs." He said with a smile in an attempt to lighten the mood. Most everyone had been able to get over everything, hell Hotaru got married off just a little over a week ago. Everyone just seemed to go back to their normal lives over time, it was about time Leanna did the same.

Cross sighed and nodded. "Yea..." she muttered as she stared at the house. Thankfully they didn't have to tear down the barn, she'd hate to see that go. And the Manor would be rebuilt, just a different design. She'd make sure nobody would ever associate that horrible time with this place.
"Thanks for coming with me... I couldn't have come back without you." she said softly, looking over at Frankie.

Frankie grinned and winked at her. "Of course, I'm always gonna be here for you." He put an arm around her shoulders and pulled her closer to him. "I don't care what it is, I'm always going to be there whenever you need me." He spoke softer, keeping his voice gentle so to keep her calm.

Cross smiled and leaned into him. "I know, you always have been." she replied quietly as she kissed his cheek. She was silent for a few minutes then she sighed. "I should tell you about Hana." she said, her decision made. "It's not the best story and it's not long, but it's part of my past and you should know it."

Frankie sat up straighter at the mention of Hana. "Okay, I'm all ears." He said, still keeping his arm around her to comfort her. Whatever it was clearly wasn't good, but he promised he'd be there for her and dammit he was going to.

The Kuma sighed and then started her little story. "I met Hana a few years ago. I immediately felt sorry for her, even though I shouldn't have. After losing Adrian, I knew what it was like to be alone... so I wanted to protect her." she scoffed. "She called me her playmate, which doesn't sound so bad, but she made me her accomplice in killing some random guy at the bar. She'd killed her parents and had made puppets out of them... she was a sick and twisted girl. She felt no pain... hell, when we were fighting her that last day, she had begged for more, she'd finally felt pain and she liked it."
Cross stopped for a moment and shuddered. "I was stupid and let my personal feelings cloud my judgement. I tried to protect her when she never needed it... or wanted it. She looked up to Hotaru... Hotaru had always been her idol and Hotaru was the only one Hana would listen to... funny how that worked then." she muttered the last line with contempt.
After a few silent minutes she continued. "I don't remember exactly when I lost track of Hana... but when we saw her again, she greeted me like an old friend, and she was hell bent on killing me as much as I was her. It took Hotaru's kidnapping in order to get me to realize how much I really hated Hana. I'd tried so long to protect her and make her see the wrong she was doing... but she only ever used me and I ignored that. I shouldn't have let her disappear from my life in the first place... I should have killed her before she ever had the chance to group up and kidnap Hotaru. I shouldn't have been led by my stupid feelings for the little lost girl." She finally finished and threw a rock down the hill in anger. Cross felt responsible for how things happened, that was why she hadn't let go yet.

Frankie listened to her story, trying to think of something to say when she finished. "It's not your fault, the kid was a psycho and you were just trying to do the right thing." He sighed. "Plus from the sound of things, she was pretty damn good at manipulating people without them realizing it. Bottom line is, it wasn't like you could have seen any of this coming, and once it happened you took action and did the right thing."
He kissed her cheek and gave her a gentle look. "No one blames you, whether they knew all that junk that happened with you two or not, and everything seems fine for the most part. We all have stuff we're not proud of, but all we can do is move on and get passed it." None of this was Leanna's fault, and it hurt him to know that she was thinking that and beating herself up for it.

Cross had been hanging onto the guilt for so long now that she wasn't sure she knew how to give it up. "Nobody had to blame me when I blamed myself." she replied closing her eyes and laying her head on his shoulder. "I want to let it go though... That's one reason why I'm demolishing the Manor and having it rebuilt." she replied softly.

"Well that's a step." He told her, messing with her hair a little as she rested her head on his shoulder. "It'll get better for you, it just might take a while is all." He kissed her head softly. "It's a process that takes time, but it'll fade eventually."
