Desiree didn't know why she wanted to go out to the beach. Alone. At night where there were little to no lights, but still she was out with her trusty guitar Sarah Jo, playing along to some random tune she'd had stuck in her head for the past few days. She hated silence, in fact it absolutely frightened her, it was probably her musician self kicking in.

Archer was taking a nightly walk to clear his head and get away from his old home where he lived before the whole 'Family' mess went down. He was still sore and angry about that and it had been a whole week already. He'd get them back in some way... probably consistently haunt them in his own twisted way.
He was walking the shore of his clan's beach silently, the lights from the street casting a pale glow about ever 10 feet down the beach. It was an eerie feeling and Archer reveled in it.
His silence was disrupted by the sound of a guitar. With a raised eyebrow, he silently made his way to the girl he located playing the instrument. Curiosity was one of Archer's biggest perks.

Desiree kept playing a little while longer, though she stopped when she felt someone's eyes on her. Her jumpy nerves kicked in and she jerked her head over to a figure not too far off. "Wh-who's there?!" she asked, startled. It was to be expected, what with the dark mood around them and all. She tried not to look too scared though, she was strong after all, she could handle some random creep.
If worse came to worse, she could use Sarah Jo as a weapon and beat him over the head, but ONLY if it came to that. She didn't want to hurt her poor instrument like that.

Archer chuckled from behind the brown haired guitar playing girl. He lit up a cigarette and walked into the light, circling around to where he could see the front of her. "Oh, nobody really." he stated teasingly, looking down at the dark haired girl with a slight smirk. The only way his face was lit up was by the cigarette he was smoking. The light was on his back and head.

Dezzy blinked a little, hugging Sarah Jo close to her as she looked up at the guy. Something about his voice made her blush a little, but she tried to keep herself calm. He didn't seem TOO BAD, a little creepy considering she couldn't really see too much of his face, but... yeah.
The Ookami gathered her thoughts and sat up a little straighter. "Who's 'nobody' exactly? I don't get a name?" she asked, raising a brow at him. He was the one that came up to her after all, he should introduce himself first.

Archer walked over to the light pole and leaned against it. He kept his face down and hooded as he looked over the dark haired girl. "How about you tell me what you were playing and then I'll give you a name." he offered taking a long drag of his cigarette and blowing smoke to the side in rings. Nasty habit of his which he'd kicked for two months finally and now it was back.

Desiree clinged to her guitar a little tighter, still trying to get herself together. "It's, um, M-Monster, from Skillet." she stuttered, feeling a little strange. "It's been stuck in my head a lot, so I thought playing it would help a little."
She looked back up at him. "So... Do I get a name now?"

Archer raised an eyebrow at the song title, chuckling to himself at the irony. "It's Archer." he answered dropping the cigarette and crushing it with his boot. He blew out another few smoke rings to dispel the smoke from his lungs. "Do I get a name now?" he echoed with a grin.

The musician gulped quietly a little before answering. "I'm Desiree." she said simply, a little worried that if she said any more she'd stutter again. There was something different about Archer, normally guys never got to her like this. She'd been hit on and harassed several times in the past, but she'd never really let them get to her before. Archer wasn't really doing either one(at least she didn't think so anyway), but it was still making her nervous.

Archer grinned and chuckled to himself. "Well Miss Desiree, if I may be so blunt... your name seems awfully close to desire." he said throwing a bit of charm into his sentence. He held off the noncommittal sound he'd been tempted to follow up with. He didn't want to scare the girl off so quickly with his pent up sexual frustration.

....and there it was. Desiree sighed, turning around as she put Sarah Jo back into her case. "Look, I'm really not in the mood to be hit on right now." she told him honestly, standing to her feet. "'Sides, it's late, really late. I've gotta go back to Base..." Though the more she thought about it, depending on how late it was she might not be able to get back into headquarters until the morning. She bit her lip in frustration, she'd just have to stay the night at her dad's.

Archer quickly walked up to the girl and put his foot lightly against the guitar case, holding it down. "Now wait there Little Lady. I was just making a comment." he stated, staring down at her. His face was still hooded by the light behind. "Believe me, if you thought that was getting hit on... you haven't seen me go all out." his eyes racked over her momentarily. "Besides, it seems you're in my territory and I'm not ready for my new... acquaintance to leave."

Desiree stopped when he put his foot on the guitar case. She kept her eyes away from his gaze, mentally cursing herself when she felt her cheeks heat up in a blush. "Whatever..." she muttered quietly to herself, not really knowing what to say to that. Unfortunately, she couldn't really get her legs to move if she wanted to.

Archer grinned and removed his foot carefully. "So, what brings you out here at a time like this?" he asked, stuffing his hands in his pockets and leaning casually. He had to keep telling himself to ease into it all and play nice. He'd been cooped up way too long in the past month and was ready to let loose a bit.

Desiree sat the guitar down, she had a feeling he wouldn't let her leave any time soon so she should at least make herself a little comfortable. She rubbed her arm a little awkwardly, still keeping her eyes away from him as she spoke. "Headquarters was just getting a little too crowded for me, it's hard to play Sarah Jo when everyone's all around at once." she shrugged a little. "Just wanted to get out and this was the first place to come to mind." She slowly moved her eyes up to him. "What about you?"
