Jack wrenched his foot out of Eva's hold as she tried to drag him down. More experience or no, Eva still weighed less than Jack did. He rammed his shoulder at her chest and followed it up with an uppercut. "Don't start what you won't finish!" He hissed, still too furious to simply give up now that Anya was fussing again. The baby wasn't really registering on Jack's radars anyway.

As much as she hated to admit it, Jack had actually caught Eva by surprise. Still, surprise or not, she jumped back up to her feet and got herself back together as quickly as she could. "Alright then," she grinned a little despite the sting in her jaw. "If you're so sure." And that was all she needed, getting Jackie THIS mad was a privilege after all. She charged after the Ookami and grabbed him by his shoulders, sending a head butt his way that she was more than likely going to regret the second it happened. At the very least it should get him dizzy enough to stop for a moment.

Jack reeled as Eva smashed their heads together and stumbled back, a strangled yowl coming from between clenched teeth as as a throbbing ache blossomed where the contact had occurred. He charged for Eva as soon as he could, firing off punches while the ache persisted. It was definitely making it hard to concentrate and HIT the blond.
Aiden managed to shush Anya again and watched the fight go on. He had to give Jack points for persistence, but he'd be docking twice as many for the pianist being predictable...

It was a little dificult for Eva to focus through the throbbing pain in her head, but she managed to dodge Jack's hits for the most part. After a while longer she finally decided that her brother-in-law was getting a little annoying. She dodged around his punches a little longer, grabbing his arm and pulling it behind his back with as much strength as she had. Hopefully THAT could get him to stop, but then again, the guy was pretty determined.

There was a sickening grinding of bone as Jack's shoulder popped out of its socket, the Ookami hissed but ceased his fighting. He pulled himself away from Eva as quickly as he could and gripped his dislocated shoulder in a pointless attempt to keep it from hurting.
Aiden winced. He couldn't say Jack hadn't had it coming or that he pitied the guy, though. After all, Jack had been the one to continue fighting even after Eva suggested they stop. He stepped forward and passed Anya to Eva, who cooed happily at the sight of her mother.

Eva took Anya, smiling down at her before looking back over at Jack. "How're you gonna rescue Hotaru if you can't even think straight?" she scowled. "That Kuma's gonna do worse stuff to push your buttons than I'm able to, and he's probably a better fighter than you too. What're you gonna do then?" She was trying to be real here, Jack wouldn't stand a chance with Boss' captor if he acted this way.

Jack fumed silently as his brother popped the joint back into place. It still hurt pretty badly, and he had a feeling he wouldn't be using it for a few days. "I don't know." He replied. "Improvise. Shove a knife into his neck."
The eldest king sibling shook his head. "Doubtful." He said. "If you can't keep a cool head you won't even think to use a weapon. You probably wouldn't even realize if HE had one, and then you'd be dead." He kept his voice even, hoping that it would help calm Jack down. It was only partially successful, but Jack's face looked less frenzied than it had previously.

Eva frowned at Jack. "Okay, here's another thing to consider: Hotaru's gonna be there when you face him, that much is certain. Do you REALLY want her to see you the way you are right now?" she asked him. "It's gonna be bad enough if she's lost it, you charging in like a maniac's not going to help that." she raised an eyebrow at him, rocking Anya slightly to keep her calm and happy. "If you LOVE her then you're gonna have to be more careful about this whole thing or you'll do more damage to her than anything else." She kept her voice calm so not to startled her daughter, but there was still a cold harshness in her words to effect the younger of the Ookamis.

Jack went silent, having no good response for that. What good response WAS there for that? After a few awkward moments he sighed. "Alright." He said, voice a little hoarse from all the yelling that had been going on both in and after the fight.
Aiden gave a tiny smile as his little brother finally seemed to be coming to his senses. "Good, took you long enough." He shot Eva a thankful look. How the blond managed to do it was a mystery in and of itself that Aiden was willing to write off as a girl thing.

Eva winked at Aiden in return, she knew that would get Jack to shut up. She looked back down at Anya, who was having fun trying to reach for her mother's blond hair. "Someone's happy," she smiled lovingly. The Tora had noticed that she had gotten to be significantly calmer and less of a bitch now that she had a child. She was still the same old Eva... she just expressed her somewhat nicer side a little more openly(though only when Anya was around).

Jack watched the scene a bit awkwardly, despite knowing about the baby for so long he had only really been an uncle for a couple of weeks. He glanced to Aiden. "I'm... heading home. I'll see you two later." He said. Whether or not he needed more training he wasn't going to be able to learn properly as he was now. Aiden gave him a nod.
"Get some sleep and let your arm recover." He advised before returning his attention to his wife and daughter.

Eva looked over in Jack's direction. "See ya." she said quickly before returning her gaze to her daughter. She sighed after the younger Ookami was out of hearing distance. "He's not gonna be able to hold himself together when it all goes down." she told her husband. "I don't trust him to keep a cool head, that's the real reason I'm wanting to go with him." A good reason, but she wouldn't voice this to Jack, he wouldn't listen and she knew it.

Aiden nodded as Jack departed. "I'm glad you're going, don't let him die, alright?" He half-pleaded, half joked. He could only half joke, it was a very real possibility that people were going to die on this mission. Hopefully no one important to him. He had only just gotten his family back, he refused to lose any of it now.
"This really is dangerous," He said, tickling Anya's belly absently and watching her giggle and coo. "So I'm not letting Tekka go, surveying the area is enough of a job for a teenager with stitches." Besides that, she had been the one most shaken up by the fight and the injuries. It was difficult to believe she was fine even if she was acting like it didn't bother her. He looked Eva in the eyes. "Though I might need some help convincing her to stay behind when we work out a strategy tonight." The meeting would be tonight, and they would likely strike in the next few days.

Eva nodded as she looked up at Aiden, cracking a small grin. "No problem, as you can tell I'm great at persuading." She had to make at least a little joke, being too serious about this would drive her crazy. "And I won't let him die, promise." She could guarantee him that much for sure.
The blond looked back down at Anya. She'd have to find a baby sitter soon for when her and Aiden left for the whole thing, she'd more than likely ask Egil to. She leaned down and kissed her daughter's forehead. "Momma and Daddy love you." she murmured gently to her.

Aiden kissed Eva's temple gently, allowing himself a small moment of semi-public affection for his family. No one was really around to witness it, so both his and Eva's reputations were safe. "Don't die on me either, ya hear?" He said softly, brushing some of Anya's ultra-fine baby hair away from her eyes. It was quite the mop for a few month old baby...
